So I had to leave my house at quarter to 2 because I was going away for the weekend… Aaaaaand DHL tried to deliver The Show half an hour later! Boooooo

So rescheduled for a Monday delivery. Bit disappointed because would love to have played it when I returned on Sunday evening, but because I've been away this weekend haven't missed out on that much I suppose.

Seeing some of the pics in the media thread have got me so excited. My Mets Citi Field looks absolutely gorgeous!

Enjoy guys, just hope I don't have to wait too long on Monday!

Hi guys, new to the forum, just wanted to ask a quick question. If I buy the 10th anniversary edition off eBay would all the codes work in the UK or could I make a U.S. account and then sign on on my main account. Sorry if I'm confusing anyone.

Codes won't work I'm afraid, all dlc is region locked. You can use the themes but anything account specific such as stubbs will only be redeemable for your us account.

Sorry if this has been asked before. but I couldn't find a full answer.

As far as I can tell, in the Netherlands there are two ways to get the game (for the PS4) this week.

1. Order the physical game from a webshop like nedgame.nl. The release date is the 31st. They carry a warning that they can't guarantee that DLC will work on a European PSN.
2. Get the digital download on the European PS Store when it's available (1st of April probably).

I know that I can't get the DLC via the physical version. But, what is the DLC? I want to be able to play (a friend) online and get roster updates. What will I miss if I buy the physical game?

Following on from that, if I purchase the digital download from the European PS Store, will I have the full game with all DLC etc.?

So, I guess the short version of my question is, I'm going to play this game on my normal European PSN account: which version should I get?


Sorry for the long-winded question, and thanks in advance for an answer. Looking forward to my 5-day-weekend, and a bit of baseball fun on the PS4 .

I'm also in the Netherlands.
Last year i bought the game at Nedgame.
Not sure about the DLC, but I suggest you make us US playstation account.
It is what i did. Install the game on that account and you will get all the DLC that is released.


Another option is to buy USA PSN credit. There are companies online that sell these. You pay and get the code by email.
For example, a credit for USD 50,= will cost you EUR 49,95.
You need USD 60,= worth of credit to be able to buy the game in the US playstation store.
You can then preload it and play the game at midnight.


I think the US psn account is essential for this game.
Hope this helps you somewhat.


This year i preordered at Nedgame and am awaiting news. Hopefully it is there tomorrow as i took the day off just to play the game all day.
If Nedgame fails i'll cancel my preorder and go digital from the US store.

How long should it take to install the game?

I left it on for half an hour to pick up daughter and the bar still hadn't moved from around the 25% mark.

Should it be taking that long?

The DLC is Stubs and card packs that can be earned in game so is not needed to connect with other payers,Just gives you a head start in DD and gear for RtTS. You also get 31 themes for ps4 and are available on the US store to buy.Not sure if they will be on the european store.

You get the DLC with the 10th anniversary edition,at this point it is still not known if europe/aus(for me) will get this version or just the standard edition(no DLC). It will also cost more for the 10th anny edition if it is available. ATM i have my fingers crossed that we will at least get the standard edition on the 1st,i am still yet to see any official info it will be released.

It didn't take anything like 6 hours but maybe somewhere around 2 hours or so. I was in and out quite a bit at the time so don't know exactly how long.

Yeah, online facilities won't switch on until presumably about midnight EST tonight.
