Just ordered my copy from a random american e-bay store. Fingers crossed and all that. Cant wait to get stuck in but hope it plays well out of the box. Really not looking forward to messing with sliders etc. Have got MLB Front Office Manager to see me through the next few days though.Comment

Are VG+ still bi-lingual covers? I remember I ordered APF 2K8 and it had a bi-lingual cover (English and French) on account of VG+ being a Canadian retrailer so I wondered whether this trend continues.
VG+ shouldn't get hit by UK import tax either right? I don't think I was hit last time I seem to recall.
And would anyone recommend ordering from Gamestop? I ordered an expensive item and got hit with import tax (to be expected) but thought their service was great. Is anyone ordering from them?

Id recommend VG+ mate - dont think ive known anyone to get hit with import tax from them, and they shipped yesterday so orders are going straight out from them

i know they dont answer email and neither the USA toll free number(i had a friend trying to call there)
now they dont answer the regular number ??? WTF is happening...
annyong as hell...if i didnt have my back up plann i would be really mad and problaby cancelled my order and go buy it somewhere else like cduniverse thats already shipping.---------------

Thats the problem i cant even cancel the pre-order now as it supposedly been shipped.
Tried again...same again, rings out. Im going to try every 30 minutes, this is a joke and totally against the customer service i have to come to expect from VG+ in the past.Comment

That is very weird mate - I cannot understand why they are unable to answer phone calls/emails. Thats just a basic courtesy to offer a customer (even more so considering they have your hard-earned in their pockets!)
Hopefully it all falls into place at somepoint today for you, keep us updated

Finally got hold of someone on the phone, they said they had been so busy that they hadnt got all orders out yesterday, he then asked if i wanted DHL i said yes, had to pay $22 Canadian, about £12 i think, to do that, paid over the phone, he says it will be shipped today, i asked about other orders and he said they too should go today but i think you ring him with your specific order no. brunnoce to check.
He confirmed should be no more than 2 days to the UK, ill keep you all informed as and when i get the tracking information later
All being well should be here Thursday.Comment

I dont plan to do any tweaking off the bat mate, from what i read it seems as though this game plays supremely well so will play it on default for at least a week before deciding if anything needs altering i think.Comment

Good to hear the rest of you guys have had the game shipped...no doubt I'll be relying on Met and Psycho again giving me (and all) some early snippets on the game and how jaw droppingly great it is...seeing as you guys will have it a day or two earlier than the rest of us...
Another day down now...it's nearly Wednesday!! lol...God, it's like waiting for Xmas when I was younger..wouldn't think I was nearly 40!!....my wife just doesn't understand, even my kids look at me bizzarely (that's normal really)...and then when I watch games as cpu v cpu, they just say, but you're not playing it..but I am, I just like to enjoy the game that way, each to their own....
