How do you like the new Forum look & feel ? [poll]

The new UI and functionality are nice. I have no complaints about that aspect.

However, as someone else previously mentioned, I also relied on Tapatalk for about 95% of my forum experience. Getting push notifications, updates on thread replies and messages, etc., made discussing and interacting on OS much easier than having to boot up a PC or use a mobile browser. It does seem like the forums are used less since the change, which I understand could partly be due to missing posts.

For the longevity of OS, I think some form of mobile app functionality is essential. Personally, I find myself interacting far less than I used to without it.

That said, I do appreciate the effort to upgrade.

Agree. If I need to be on a PC or laptop all the time for OS, then I just can't be on here nearly as often. When I am on the PC or laptop, I am starting to get used to the layout. Hopefully I can update my settings soon.

As of yesterday, the old Operation Sports iOS app has started working again for me. This is how I engage with the forums 95% of the time, so for me it feels like things are back to normal. But I know I am in the minority, so for the sake of most others, I would say this change has been pretty terrible and unnecessary.

I respect everyone's opinion, but to me the old forum was way more clutter than the new one. If anything I feel the new one is too sparse. Things definitely need addressed though.

I don’t know how anyone can say it’s faster. On my iPhone it takes almost a full minute and a half for the forums to even load. I am trying to get used to the new layout but I am just not a fan. Combine that with the multiple missing posts, and the regulars not posting, and this is a change that’s not really for me

Today’s been painfully slow but the rest of the week has been faster, or at worst as fast as the old forums. Not sure what they’re doing behind the scenes today that’s slowing things down so much.

The gray text against the brown background in unreadable. Come on guys…you can do better.

You can change the background. Just scroll to the bottom of the forum and you'll see a small box that is set to DARK, but you can change to DEFAULT and the background is white.

The old boards were a mess and difficult to spend time on with the ads covering anything you’d be reading etc. this is better, wouldn’t say I love it though.
