I haven't seen any real changes other than ebbs and flows from game to game. But I always have the CPU contact slider waaay up so maybe that's why.

Sometimes I can't hit anything and thing they have increased pitch speed, but then after a while I realised I was a lot worse at hitting if I played not long after waking up or if I played late in the evening. If I play during the day or early evening I don't struggle hitting. You need to be 100% focused and if you have just woken up or starting to feel tired you will probably have this problem. Took me a while to realise but that was the case for me

What rosters are you using? Also which pitchers is this with? Is it in Franchise?

One issue I find in Franchise is that when my pitchers get hot, they perform a lot better and get more swing and misses. One of the reasons I wish we could turn off hot/cold streak effects.

But in using Play Now and DD, I also haven’t seen any changes to CPU batting.

I just finished a game up, and the CPU had a 30.6% Chase rate (10 strikeouts). Granted, that's just one game. But it's more or less in line with what I've experienced. I've averaged 8.4 strikeouts in my last 10 played games.
