GENERAL:

• 2025 Boston Red Sox City Connect uniforms have been added.

FRANCHISE:

• Fixed an issue where a user could load into an incorrect created stadium when loading from an in-game save file.

• Addressed an issue where the CPU would auto-release players if the roster was over 93 players.

ROAD TO THE SHOW:

• Fixed a bug where the “ball in dirt“ tutorial could incorrectly trigger when playing as a catcher.

I don't understand these updated models. Most of the ones I check look the same. Last week Yelich and Ortiz were listed as having updated models and nothing changed.

Glad to see the auto release of players addressed. That was annoying to deal with during the offseason

Bravo SSD. A Saturday patch is a nice treat. Looks like a nice update for some equipment and player models. I haven't checked it out yet but looks like a nice subtle update.

The cubs uniforms and stance socks are still wrong. The issue where the glasses lens shows up as clear is still a bug and the new adidas cleats you can't edit the color of them. Whoever does the work on cosmetics and equipment at SDS gives lack luster effort, its embarrassing.

I am not sure what was changed with Yelich. But Ortiz was fat before…they still need to fix Oliver Dunn as he also looks like he weighs 300 pounds when he only weighs half of that.

The reason why you’re getting these patches when we are because I believe once the City connect uniform is revealed they must contractually release the uniform.

Yeah I agree. I know once all the City Connects are released the updates will slow down quite a bit.

Will these updated player models also change if you use a different set of rosters from the vault?

I wish they would bring back the Rawlings gold glove equipment for players that wear it and o wish we didn't have to wait until the holiday to get the theme batting gloves from Franklin. Keep last years and then update them.

The 3rd base coach is still wearing a jacket for some reason. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

It’s not just faces anymore. They are updating the player models for the body as well now since it’s a new player model. So slight facial changes but also body model changes are also included.

I wish they would add beards onto some of the Yankees. Rodon and Dominguez specifically.

Yeah they fixed the puffed out chest and thin torso on both Yelich and Ortiz. They look more human and less alien lol. I just wished they would've thrown a mustache on Ortiz tho

It’s cause they were previously in the game. Same with Lauer of the Jays. Seems the players who return to the game comes in first update with editable faces, then they bring the SCEA faces back next updates. Luis Severino never got his beard in the game last year until this year. Genesis Cabrera didn’t get his haircut till like last update last year. Be patient 😉
