Interesting they didn’t specify no gameplay updates. Don’t they usually put that in the patch notes?

A lot of people on different forums are complaining that the hitting is too hard. I’m kind of afraid they’re going to beef it up.

Same here. They’re complaining on twitter about exit velos being too low. Which, they’re more realistic this year. They were way too high last season. Mad they can’t hit 20 home runs a game I guess.

On another note, I hope we get some Yankees beards in this patch.

On another note, I hope we get some Yankees beards in this patch.

I feel like that percieved power reduction has more to do with elevations being lowered for minor league and created stadiums (which is where the majority of the competitive crowd plays) than it does with exit velos. Because of that there's been a huge uptick in the number of people playing at Coors this year - because it's the only one where they can still get that kind of elevation effect. Of course, the park's dimensions still balance things out to be realistic enough at Coors. Small minor league parks with that kind of elevation were just launching pads.

Game is better for that change IMO.

Great patch notes... no bug fix. no frame drop fix. at least if there's no likeness update they're really crazy

The chances that is “addressed” in a patch are very slim.

Given that it’s not a “bug” but rather a design decision, it would most likely be looked at in regards to changing it during the development cycle so as to not introduce a bug/glitch by trying to change it via a patch.

I kinda like it now so I hope it stays.

I've gotten used to it, but I still wouldn't mind to see it go. But I'm almost positive it's here to stay this year.
