Josh Smith is in the players model updates list for a second time yet still has a generic face. Don't know what is going on there.

Didn't an old game update say they updated his player likeness too? Regardless, these likeness updates are very much appreciated. It's a bonus that they're actually including who was updated in these updates now, which they rarely did in years prior

I think this is the third time he's mentioned in the player model updates but just switches from he's cap face to the horrible generic one. They seem to be doing a better job with face model updates but they still leaving out important players That start regularly.

That’s not 100% true. If the player already had a scan, then it updates the existing franchise. If it’s replacing a CAP version, then it won’t update in the existing franchise because the Player IDs are different.

It appears the Adidas Electric 2.0 cleats replaced the Electric cleats. Which is unfortunate, because a lot of players are wearing that one.

I'm curious if anybody else is seeing what I'm seeing. After the patch today, the graphics are popping more. Like, the colors look brighter and the game looks more crisp and clean for me. I'm on the Pro so I don't know if they did something to it but I SWEAR the game looks even better than it did before. Not that it looked bad because it didn't, but I'm definitely noticing an improvement. It's weird!

I have noticed that happening last year as well, game seemed to getting better graphically as the season rolls on.

It’s either a memory thing or the agreement they have with the companies where they have to have the latest retail equipment available. Or some mix of both of those things.

I wish they would do what the old NHL 2k game did where they would have the actual pro-stock models in the game for equipment like gloves and helmets rather than the retail stock, but I think those days are over with how much control brands want over their equipment now and how they use it as marketing for selling the new stuff.

They also have many players with old face scans that need updating. Also don't get me started on the Brewers with Sal Frelick amongst others in desperate need of an updated model

Eugenio Suarez has needed a scan for a few years now (they did add his long hair last year). Same for Ty France (believe he had a pretty accurate one a few years back and it miraculously disappeared).

Ty France and Harrison Bader are 2 Twins players who really need a scan.When you start looking through all the teams you see just how many outdated face scans there are.

Harrison Bader isn’t getting a scan. He’s been in the league for 9 years and never got one, so it’s more than likely a Trout situation where he just never made himself available for one.
