So i guess them finishing the missing features in franchise is out the question ( GM Contracts )

I was expecting a lot more player model updates like in past patches. While these are welcome, I don't know why we aren't getting the likes of Aranda, Keith, Baldwin, Goodman, Cam Smith etc

What missing features? GM contracts are in the game already. I'm not aware of anything that is in game in regards to GM Contracts that isn't working properly or that is missing that was due to be in '25??

If you're referring to adding additional features, the likelihood of that type of addition being made via a patch would be slim to none to begin with.

As someone who started their franchise on GOAT difficulty pitching, and played up until July in my franchise, and now will be restarting on Legend+ pitching, I'm guessing the DD community has had some similar challenges/issues playing on GOAT😞

What issues have you had on GOAT? I’m just about done June and I still wish they were more challenging. I’m using pinpoint. What were you using ?

I just wasn’t enjoying the experience on goat difficulty and I’m a stickler for using one difficulty/slider set throughout my franchise.

What issues have you had on GOAT? I’m just about done June and I still wish they were more challenging. I’m using pinpoint. What were you using ?

I’ve always used meter pitching so I’m not sure how much that makes a difference versus pinpoint. But I was just finding too many instances of relatively poor hitters absolutely mashing well placed pitches. It wasn’t that it was necessarily harder to hit my spots, just that essentially any batter could turn into Vlad Guerrero at any moment. My aces were getting shelled pretty frequently and had a high 4 or low 5 ERA.

I also found myself managing my bullpen and stepping off the mound frequently which felt pretty unrealistic. I appreciated GOAT for what it was and I’m sure some can handle, but my sweet spot has generally been legend+

The new patch completely glitches the new UA cleats that were just added in the last patch. They're now just shiny gray blurs.

What the heck, updated Witts UA to all Light Blue and now the are ALL Black and made Happs half Team Color/ Half Light Blue and they are Jet Black!

it's crazy this is an issue. using a photo in rtts i created a player that looks more like me, than i look like me.

mlb could reach out to teams/ players and just obtain permission to use their likeness in game, and run with a passport style photo the player and boom. in about 7 or 8 hours you could do every missing player they haven't got.

I'm just guessing but maybe those players don't give them permission?

They do have permission to use their likeness in the game, that’s why the player is in the game. It’s the license agreement with the MLBPA.

For what you’re suggesting to work, each individual player/MLBPA would have to sign off on the photo being used before SDS could use it as a likeness image in the game.

It falls under the same reasoning as to why you can’t edit licensed players in the game (add a beard, change hair, change weight, etc)

That is a lot of legal paperwork that really isn’t worth it.

Doesnt sound complicated. Teams could take 10 mins to present it to their player at the beginning of the season. Or if you do it at the combine/draft, minor league all star games/ mlb futures games. You start to cover yourself for the future.

Has anyone else noticed any frame rate glitches since the latest patch? I didn't change anything with my hardware.
