MLB The Show 26 will be a buy!

After watching the gems EA and NBA 2k dropped with machine learning I know a lot of MLB The Show fans jaws were hanging on the floor. I suspect SDS will follow and the hope is they have been working on AI integration for the past 2 years and will have an updated graphical engine. If true 26 should be a huge leap forward in franchise and gameplay. I hope its a leap along the lines of that if you are playing a player locked position with CPU players they will adjust accordingly to dynamic situations when the ball is in play that would be the dream!

After watching the Madden 26 deep dive I dropped $150 on the game. Football is not even my favorite sport and after been a MLB The Show fan since 2013 I've never dropped money on a pre-order for MLB The Show and baseball is my favorite sport. I left the series in 25 and did not buy for the first time so let's hope the SDS team will have a better franchise mode and AI coach integration because baseball is a game with in the game. It would bring The Show to life! So for once I am looking forward to the SDS streams in the coming months. But if they do not follow suite like EA and 2k then they will be even further behind when it comes to sports games.

I mean.....I hope so....but there hasn't really been anything in the last few cycles that would make me optimistic for such a big update in one year. It's mostly been relatively small improvements in a couple areas than a big overhaul. Which is great for those of us who already like the game, but I get others wanting more.

It's also one thing to advertise huge upgrades and machine learning and another to actually implement those improvements effectively....I think it's a bit premature to crown Madden or 2K as massive successes before their games even launch.

I Wish mlb the Show would improve Presentation, Like blue Jays but an Jacket on in dogout after homerun. Closer entrance with music and light Show at night games

They have closer entrances, but they stopped working right this year for some reason. They do need the light updates for closers and even for HRs and wins.

For MLBTS26, I'll be in Day One, even early as Early Access. But I'm not going to base that decision on anything EA or 2K does or doesnt do.

Earlier in the year SDS put out a user questionnaire which suggested all sorts of possible major improvements and new features to the game to get user feedback. Some of them were truly amazing ideas which users have mentioned over the years. However, it remains to be seen what if anything of these proposed ideas are actually implemented in MLB 26. Will MLB 26 be a giant step forward and have some truly new amazing features or will it merely be MLB 25 with the same graphics and some fine tuning. I do not believe one can assume that because games for other sports have made big improvements that SDS will follow suit. We will need to wait until early next year when SDS starts providing information on the next edition of the game.

I agree that the priority focus for MLB The Show 26 should be graphics and presentation.
Additions I would like to see:
          - finally include exteriors for all 30 MLB ball parks (ATL, CIN, PIT, MIN, DET, WAS, KC, ARI, ect)
          - finally clean up the graphics drop during cut scenes (goes from PS5 on the field to PS1 during the cut scenes)
          - finally address the legacy issues like coaches in heavy jackets in July
          - finally address eye sore that is the crooked, jaggy top of the Gateway Arch in St. Louis and unsightly exterior terrain of Dodger Stadium
          - bring more authentic presentation at each ball park like the mascot races with the Nationals, ect
          - multiple broadcast teams (Boog and Singy need additional crews)
          - storylines even during Play Now games including an "around the MLB" highlight in the middle innings
          - bring back the on-field reporter like Heidi back in the day
          - for Franchise, include a weekly wrap up show (backed up by MLB Network)

Love the work and dedication by the SDS team, but before they add any new game features/modes, would like them to address these legacy graphics and presentation issues to help make the best MLB game to date.

Yeah, I wish that the show had at least the win music for the Cubs and Yankees. If Madden can play the real music after a TD and win, then the show can too.

I just finished playing in the World Series with the Dodgers. I felt the playoff presentation wasn't much different than the game of the week. Like they didn't mention the playoffs enough during the game. Sometimes after the game, they would say the same stuff like they would after a regular season game. They wouldn't say....oh the Dodgers take a 2-0 game lead in the series. We won the world series and I thought maybe they would say something about back to back world series but they didn't. I was dissapointed that we can't get the bottom line ticker during playoff games. I want to know what is happening in the other playoff games. They could have a lot of cool stuff like projected game starters to the other series. I feel like they mised a lot of presentation opportunities in the playoffs.

This has got to be a major wish list item, no? Doesn't everybody want a big World Series presentation?
