corrupted franchise save file :(

hey guys last night I attempted to continue my franchise and I was greeted with a corrupted save file message.. brutal.. I dont think there is any way to fix it

I've played ever pitch of my yankees franchise and I made it all the way to the end of August with some amazing in game storylines unfolding.. unfortunately my only save that still works was from the beginning of August. I've lost over 3 weeks of stats and stories and Im absolutely crushed.. I havent finished a full 162 game series where I played EVERY pitch for like over a decade lol(MLB 12). What would you guys do? would you sim back to the end of August and continue from there? or go back to the start of August? What really sucks is that my franchise feels "spoiled" now that my stats are lost and Ive lost the attachment to my franchise world... Im not sure I can completely start over in April either but Im considering it as I have some OCD for not simming

Is it a literal corrupted file or is it just stopping when you try to advance to a next day? I simmed several seasons and the sim would crash if some of the teams rosters weren't set correctly.

Corrupted file, it won’t load. When I attempt to load it, it says the file is corrupted

What do you guys think is the better approach, sim or replay the 3weeks ?

Any chance the save file in the cloud works?

Myself, I think with it being 3 weeks I would just replay the three weeks and see new storylines develop.

I had an issue where my profile reset, causing all my settings to default. Now I save in game as well as on the cloud.

I also would replay the 3 weeks, it'll suck for game 1 or 2 but after that it'll be okay. Also always save 2 or 3 different saves after each game.

Yes really was a gut punch as I was truly enjoying my franchise for the first time in many years

And yes I was indeed in playoff contention, sitting comfortably in the WC 1 position by 8.5 games

Then I would replay the 3 weeks.

I'd replay the three weeks and pretend the three weeks you lost was all just a dream.

Replay the 3 weeks.....you will fly thru it.

And definitely keep two current save files moving forward....just in case.

At least it is only 3 weeks and you at least had another file. That would have been even worse if you had to start completely over.
