Editing rosters questions (hot zones; Rule 5)

    1. Is there a way to edit hot/cold zones on existing and/or created players?

    2. Is there a way to remove the "5" for Rule 5 players? Removing the "R" is easy enough by adding a little experience in the "general" area, but can't find a way to get rid of the "5".

That's poor. Something MVP had in it 20 years ago.

MVP didn’t have Rule 5 players

I'm talking about the ability to edit pretty much anything and everything. I can ignore the "5" sitting there. MVP had the ability to edit hot/cold zones and percentages of hit direction tendencies.

Actually, why they haven't worked in some type of at least global editor in the game at this point is beyond me.

I believe one reason they have not, and will not, release a tool for global editing is because they don’t to make it easy to change rosters and then go online with bulked up rosters for head to head and tourney play. They do not put a lot of effort into tweaking the editor year to year. They won’t allow Y2Y roster saves to be imported due to the complexity (according to them). Bottom line is they don’t want to throw resources and time at editing since there is no return on investment for them.

The MLB/MLBPA licensing agreement prevents the devs from having free reign on editing real players.

They are extremely limited on what they can allow the end user to edit for real players within the game.
