Here’s one in the weeds - The 1994 Brewers road batting helmets should have green brims, not navy. Only the home helmets had navy brims. There’s a 1994 Brewers at Twins video on YouTube that proves this.

I couldn't find any '94 pictures of him (or any Brewers on the road batting), but here he is in '96 with a clearly green helmet brim. The picture you used looks to be one from '97-'99 as the redesigned cap/helmet logos just had the "M" and numbers were added to the front of the jersey

What year was this picture from? According to Sportslogos.net, the Brewers road uniforms had the green brims from 1994-1996 before switching to navy brims with the road uniforms in 1997.

I was wrong. The spacing of the names and numbers are really bad on the back of all MLb jerseys.

Either the Braves are going back to wearing the navy caps with the red brims for road games and haven't made an announcement or SDS screwed up. Personally, I hope SDS is right. I've never liked the all navy caps.

They left the all navy caps out initially last year too and then added them later. So it’s hard to say.

The all navy caps are in the game because they're paired with the 2008 navy jerseys.

They're definitely still wearing the all navy, since they wore the all navy batting helmets with the alternate navy jersey during the spring. Plus, the hats are on sale and named "Road" on MLB Shop (Red Bill is listed as "Home") plus the Jackie Robinson hats on sale are all navy (the game has the Jackie Robinson hat as having a red bill).

And the 08 alternate caps are mostly the same, but they're missing the New Era logo.

I believe the style guide doesn’t have the navy cap, that’s why they didn’t have it last year. I’m sure it’s back again for this year but seems like they’ll have to add it in again.

Jackie Robinson day jerseys are the wrong home/away style for at least the Braves and Marlins. They are away and home, respectively, but the game is played at Truist, so it should be the other way around.

Just updated the Royals portion. I previously, and erroneously, said all their uniforms should have the newer shade of royal blue until I saw this post on SportsLogos.net. I thought their uniforms being noticeably more vibrant was just an effort to make their colors pop from a game perspective--not because the Royals actually updated them IRL

Good info!! Love the new brighter blue!! I wish the Braves would permanently go back to the shade of blue that used back in the 70s and 80s.

But I wish they'd go back to their 2002-2018 logo. Not a fan of their current logo.

The Blue Jays wore their new alt throwback white panel cap yesterday (called “2nd alternate cap” in game), I’m not sure if the blue is too light in game.

I wonder if their new red + blue Canada day cap could also have the blue too light but we’ll have to wait for it to be officially unveiled.

For the Mets City Connect uniforms, black is actually the correct undershirt and accessory color. Purple was worn last year by a few of the players, but black is the actual color that is the official color for that uniform. It was probably 50/50 for who wore either color last year. Curious if that changes this year.

So an update to this, a majority of players are wearing purple now. Also for those that aren’t instead of black sleeves, they are wearing grey instead. So I do hope they update to have purple sleeves for the uniform this year.
