    Spring training stadiums

Why is it so hard to include them?

Quite a few years ago they said it takes like 3 months just to build a stadium from scratch in the game. ST stadiums are obviously not to the same scale as a MLB stadium but I'm sure it is still very time consuming. I always just download some from the vault.

That’s just building them too. We’re not talking about getting reference material, traveling to the stadium for those shots, etc.

Makes sense. It's certainly not a game changer, but it would really add to the immersion. I'd be more willing to play and finish spring training games if there were more than the same 2 generic stadiums. No biggie, just wondered why. I mean, TBH, I'd rather have a few additional ST stadiums than the WBC ones. But I understand that's a big part of this year's edition.

Or just allow carryover stadiums so we can start Franchise in spring training with created stadiums. It is crazy they make these great artists start from scratch each year.

While affiliated with the major league, the teams and parks are not owned by major league baseball. I'm guessing licensing issues etc. may very well be in the way.

This upsets me as well. The last couple of seasons ( 24 and 25 ) there were several accurate spring training ballparks in the vault and we were able to carry over what we wanted to carry over to 25 from 24. This year SDS decided to take that feature away , stating that the vault needed cleaning , too much in there I guess. And I agree the vault needed some clean up. But take a look at the vault now... over 2500 created ball parks in there. And on each page there is at least 4 maybe 5 costco ballparks! Or Hr Derby ball parks! , Its ridiculous! I just want to carry over maybe 4 or 5 of the ballparks I had in the vault from 25 ... most are ST ball parks. Its the only thing at this point that I do not like about the game this year and what will keep me playing 25.

Yeah, I wish that Stadium creator worked well. I'd love to use it. But its just such a mess that I completely avoid it. The game feels and looks different when you play in those too, even the very best ones. For ST games, I just play in a few of the minor league parks.

At the very least if they don't want to add real spring training stadiums at least make a few more generic spring training stadiums.

For me personally, I rather have more historical stadiums. Give me Tiger Stadium, Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium, Busch Stadium II, Jack Murphy Stadium, Milwaukee County Stadium, Candlestick Park, ect. That would be epic.
          Atlanta Braves
          Atlanta Falcons
          Auburn Tigers
          Detroit Red Wings
          Winnipeg Jets

I do think that having at least one of the cookie cutter 70s/80s stadiums in the game would be a good addition for a change up. But man, playing the games with today's stadiums is so much more fun than in the 90s when so many were just circles!

I can see where it comes off that way but as someone that doesn't really remember the old cookie cutter stadiums of the 70s and 80s, I miss them.
