Dev note: This is a smaller update to resolve a set of crashes ahead of a future update coming next week.

• Fixed a crash that could occur when certain presentations were shown.

That does stink, I'm almost a month into mine.
Its only a precursor to what will be my main franchise I hope to be started by late May/early June buthe past month I've been getting in plenty practice as Colorado before the Mets take over for the rest of the year, January February of next year.

I think you guys need to calm down. Rushing fixes isn’t good either and we’re only 10 days into the actual baseball season. If we’re waiting another week, the hope is that much more is patched than just a small updates. At least wait until the next patch is released to see if they missed anything to be pissed about.

There is alot to fix. Previous seasons when there were updates they would patch whatever , except the gameplay , everyone was worried they would touch the gameplay. This year though... gameplay NEEDS to be touched ... and Im hoping that having to wait on this , they are making sure they get it right with no other issues. Anytime there is a patch, that patch would cause a crash , a glitch or something in another area of the game. Lets hope this next update gets everything right. Stay positive my friends !

Exactly. What I think we need to hear from them gameplay wise is what they are going to tweak to make pop time work more effectively to balance the stolen base issue. Rest of the gameplay is fine, but they did say between that and the reaction direction attributes, they wanted to see how it worked in practice before rushing to make changes.

It would be ideal for release 6 if they have enough of a subset of proof for the changes need to be made. At the very least, they should at least update us on what the plan is if it isn’t captured for a new release so we can gauge when it’s coming.

I would like a little more transparency. At least let us know what is coming later on down the road even if it isn’t in the next patch. We’d at least know then what is going to be fixed in the future and what isn’t. Like I’m waiting on the pop time stuff and the start time bug. If I knew those weren’t going to be touched in the future I’d go ahead and start my franchise instead of wondering what’s coming from update to update. Not knowing is the main reason I’m getting so frustrated.

I’m somewhat in the same boat, but I’m honestly looking to see if Nolan McLean and/or Carson Benge are getting face scans since I’ll be using the Mets. If they aren’t, I may start anyway, but there’s a few things I’m also looking at (budgets, arbitration, and the items you listed).

Face scans will update after you start your franchise. You wouldnt need to restart. Unless they were altered by you.

Something seems off on HOF classic pitching, CPU is struggling to hit and strikes out more than I can remember with 25. The Cardinals do not have a good staff or bullpen. I'm seeing many low scoring games. (could be just me)

I play as the Cardinals as well .. what sliders / slider set are you using ? The sliders and what you have them set at are key

Nolan is like Konner Griffin, he wasn't a "hard-coded" player like Jose Ramirez or Kwan, Konner already got changed over to be hard coded player who can't be exported. But if you download the Default Roster from the vault you can still get get the Konner Griffin who can be exported. Anyway, Nolan McLean in the Default Roster isn't hard coded, so if you sta.rt your franchise with that Nolan and then they update him to be like they did with Konner, you will still have the original exportable Nolan. It doesnt bother me tho especially since they took real portraits off stadium scoreboard, I don't mind Konner or Nolan being "fake" players.
