The install will probably be huge too.

What point are you trying to make?

You and I both know install time with a disc won't take nearly as long as it will if you get the digital version.

When you buy games digitally before their release date you can usually download them before hand and start playing at midnight. I think PSN already does this.

Since, as far as know, the PS4 is still using 50gb blu rays wouldn't the install size be at or less than 50gb? I honestly don't know but I'm hoping it's not larger than that. My 500gb hard drive PS4 is started to look small fast.

That's what I do for any major release that I don't want to wait for. It's what I did with The Last of Us and what I will likely do for inFamous. Walmart works very well for midnight releases in my experience.

Gamestop is offering a preorder bonus of $20 in game currency (Universal Currency). This is the only reason that I'm preordering it from there instead of just going to a store and picking it up sometime Tuesday.

Related to the midnight release question, I can't think of another game off the top of my head that releases on May 6th this year. I could be very wrong as I'm certainly not up to date on any and all games. That said, I do think I would know of anything major enough to warrant a midnight release. Looks like if you want it at midnight you'll have to do without the preorder bonus unless other retailer bonuses are announced within the next 50-some days.

I know that Steam does this with some titles. I wasn't aware that PSN did it, but I could be wrong. I've never preordered a title digitally and really only digitally purchase digital-only games.

EDIT: A quick Google search confirms that you can pre-load certain titles. Apparently Dark Souls 2 was available for preloading in Europe.

i've bought games digitally before, but never before the release date. SOOOO, IDK if it DL'ed it and had it waiting for Midnight.

I'm hoping a line drive to the knee does not mean the opposing pitcher will throw 8 scoreless innings after. An injury should occur or at least a ratings drop.

Probably at least 8 times out of 10 there should be some sort of effect on his game.

Although that doesn't take into account the quality of the hitting :P

I'm sick of seeing a pitcher take a line drive to the skull and nothing happens

Unless he takes it as a throw from Napoli, then he gets knocked out. HAHA

Hey guys, do you all think we are in more of a pleasant surprise on the presentation side other than the redone stadium fly-in intro?

yes, they've already said presentation and commentary both got upgrades.

Absolutely. I think this year is the golden year.

No, this won't be the golden year. A first year on any new console is never a golden year. Don't get me wrong, this will be an amazing game. But devs NEVER figure EVERYTHING about a new console out the first year (even first party devs). Give it till MLB 16 or 17 and THEN it'll be golden, (if not platinum) HAHA.
