Re: PS4 Discussion (MLB The Show 14)
Remember your gonna have to get it home and wait for install too, soooo. (that's why I'm getting mine digitally this year to try out.) No waiting in store lines then bringing it home and waiting for install. Just DL it right at 12 and it'll DL and install all in one, so I'll be ready by 3 or 4 AM. (I usually just do my options and settings night one anyways. I go to bed and dont play my first game until morning.)
You and I both know install time with a disc won't take nearly as long as it will if you get the digital version.Comment

Since, as far as know, the PS4 is still using 50gb blu rays wouldn't the install size be at or less than 50gb? I honestly don't know but I'm hoping it's not larger than that. My 500gb hard drive PS4 is started to look small fast.

Re: PS4 Discussion (MLB The Show 14)
Related to the midnight release question, I can't think of another game off the top of my head that releases on May 6th this year. I could be very wrong as I'm certainly not up to date on any and all games. That said, I do think I would know of anything major enough to warrant a midnight release. Looks like if you want it at midnight you'll have to do without the preorder bonus unless other retailer bonuses are announced within the next 50-some days.
EDIT: A quick Google search confirms that you can pre-load certain titles. Apparently Dark Souls 2 was available for preloading in Europe.Comment

i've bought games digitally before, but never before the release date. SOOOO, IDK if it DL'ed it and had it waiting for Midnight.Comment

I'm hoping a line drive to the knee does not mean the opposing pitcher will throw 8 scoreless innings after. An injury should occur or at least a ratings drop.Comment

Although that doesn't take into account the quality of the hitting :P

I'm sick of seeing a pitcher take a line drive to the skull and nothing happensComment

No, this won't be the golden year. A first year on any new console is never a golden year. Don't get me wrong, this will be an amazing game. But devs NEVER figure EVERYTHING about a new console out the first year (even first party devs). Give it till MLB 16 or 17 and THEN it'll be golden, (if not platinum) HAHA.Comment
