Re: What will your PS4 be doing while waiting for The Show?
I'm thinking we're not gonna see any news and or screens/vids of the PS4 version until March. They're just as giddy to show it as we are to see it, BUT I think it's not done yet, and they'll show it when they're ready. That being said, I DO believe it's close, and that they'll start trickling things out here and there starting first week of March.Comment

Thief releases next week, Infamous in a month, and the projection for Watch Dogs is between April-June, so I'm hoping for April with that.Comment

Re: What will your PS4 be doing while waiting for The Show?
I agree I am getting it just for The Show. But the reason I asked is I have my PS3 hooked up in the living room for my son's games and he loves the 60 inch Plasma. Is he ever gonna be disappointed when the PS4 takes over that room until some of his games drop on the PS4 , poor guy

Re: What will your PS4 be doing while waiting for The Show?
I'll be trying to get a Platinum in Resogun. That game is deceptively great and highly addictive (and still free for PS Plus members!). I'm also going to eventually beat Outlast...in small 5 - 10 minute segments haha.
I'm thinking about Thief but will probably wait until I see reviews before jumping in on it...possibly even wait a few months until I find a deal on it. InFamous is a definite day one purchase for me though.
Those'll be mixed in with a little FIFA, Don't Starve, and maybe Contrast if I ever get around to it. FIFA is FIFA which is a good thing, Don't Starve is fun in small doses but I get tired of it quickly if I mess around with it for very long at all, and Contrast is a fun little platforming puzzle game but it has failed to pull me in. The latter two (Don't Starve and Contrast) were free with PS Plus but I don't know that I would suggest them for full purchase...especially since I don't know how much they are now. Fun, but I don't know if I'd spend money on them.Comment

Re: What will your PS4 be doing while waiting for The Show?
I'm guessing because your new console has about 5 total games to choose from at this point and most of them aren't very good. I don't get why people knock other people for wanting more features in their console. I own both next gen consoles and still end playing my 360 the most because the games and apps for ps4 and xbone are very limited and my friends haven't made the jump yet. It would've been nice to play my last gen games on these consoles for sure. Not a deal breaker, but I won't jab anyone that sees it that way.Comment

Plus think of the people who made the jump from 360 to PS4 or PS3 to Xbox One. Many people would be more than willing right now to buy a PS3 game for their PS4 because they couldn't play it before. The only older working system I have right now, other than my 360, is a NES. Wouldn't the Wii sell a lot better if you could somehow play some of those original games? There were some really fun PS One and PS2 games that people would pay to own again if they could play it on their PS4.I'm guessing because your new console has about 5 total games to choose from at this point and most of them aren't very good. I think Sony recognizes that their former core audience that grew up with them are now in the job force and are willing to pay for that nostalgia. Playstation Now, if it works properly, is going to be a cash cow for Sony.Comment

That's your opinion. I love my PS4 and have been ready for something new for a few years before now. The PS3 just doesn't cut it for me anymore.I'm guessing because your new console has about 5 total games to choose from at this point and most of them aren't very good. Re: What will your PS4 be doing while waiting for The Show?
The Only reason I haven't got a PS4 yet is because I haven't heard about anything good enough to hold me over until the show is released. I don't want to buy it and just have it sitting around until the show is released. Can anyone recommend anything good? I usually only play sports games mainly NBA 2k and the show, but since they took most of what I usually do in 2k(D/L or Make Retro rosters and then use them in playoff mode no playoff mode no create a player) I wasn't in a rush to pick up since I have it for PS3. I never really been a COD or battlefield guy but im into sandbox action game like GTA. I would even be wiling to give both COD or BF4 a try if its worth it as long as they have a decent single player because I don't really play online. Any help would be appreciated though im really looking for a reason to get a ps4 this weekend.Comment

BF's online is good as always, and BOTH BF's and CoD's campaigns are sweet. A for sports games, you're not gonna find one better than FIFA. Pure awesomeness. (at least until May) LOLThe Only reason I haven't got a PS4 yet is because I haven't heard about anything good enough to hold me over until the show is released. Re: What will your PS4 be doing while waiting for The Show?
MGS 4 on PS3 was pretty sweet. There's a prequel game coming out in March that's supposedly only 2 hours long, but the main game still doesn't have a release date, BUT looks really good.Comment

Re: What will your PS4 be doing while waiting for The Show?
Some PS4 owners are former XBOX 360/Wii owners that missed out on a lot of great PS3 games.
That was a major selling point for me to get a WiiU. I never owned a Wii so it's great that I can play a lot of great games like Skyward Sword and Mario Galaxy without buying another system.Comment

You havent looked good enough then, they are plenty of good games for the PS4 right now! And many of them are free if you are a member. The Only reason I haven't got a PS4 yet is because I haven't heard about anything good enough to hold me over until the show is released.
