It's possible, but only if that rule with managers is real. I've never heard that rule ever. Bo Porter was the Astros manager in the game last year out of the box and he wasn't the Astros manager the year before (he was the Nationals 3B coach), so idk if that rule with managers is accurate. This could very well be a licensing issue where SCEA has to pay the manager for likeness? total speculation on my part with that.

Re: Terry Francona
Another reason that they could not be in the game is because they are part of the Union yet. Because I know that is reason why you will never see Bill Belichick in a Madden football game and why Chad Masters is the coach of the Patriots. But I do not know if base coaches and positional coaches are part of the union or not.Comment

Re: Terry Francona
Yeah, its a bummer, but I don't really mind that much.
...well that is until they show the manager in the dugout constantly during the game. If they didn't show them up close so much I could completely ignore it, but its there every game. Big bummer for fans of those teams as it can relaly take you out of the broadcast presentation.Comment

Re: Terry Francona
Just as long they look like the real life counterparts. I don't get no Matt Williams and McClendon being in the game. They were base or hitting coaches.Comment
