Even thought i know that SOTS will not be in this years version, i'm still pretty sad and upset by the decision of Sony for not including custom music.

Same. And its not just the walk ups it was all the other sounds you could use to try and make playing in each park a different experience. Just hope they have done some work to make each stadium unique and not just copy and pasted all sounds to all stadiums.

I wonder if the PS4 version just has this feature omitted from the start or if it is hidden in the game should Sony ever decide to let users have music.

I really hope they have too because that is the best part about SOTS, for me. You can make every park truly feel different. Part of me wants to just get the game on PS3 because this feature isn't on PS4

What would be great in the future, create a sound profile that can be shared among users. This way instead of everyone having to change individual sounds, a user can create their own and upload for the community.

That would involve sharing of copyrighted materials which is a no-go. It would essentially be a file-sharing service like Napster or Limewire. I wish though.

I had MU for free and still didn't use it. I really hope Sony stops lolligagging and just includes MP3 and file-transfer support already. It makes little sense to not include those things.

I think it's mainly due to that damn music service Sony is trying to push people to buy. It's actually a pretty good music service (used the 30 day trial in the PS4 box), but not worth paying some monthly fee to use. Just like you I am hoping that they finally add mp3 capability. The PS3's capability to store all of that content as well as connect to PC's/Laptops was awesome. I really hope they bring that back. Hopefully that first big update to the system is when we will get some of the things that we all want.
