I am bored of seeing PS4 vids filmed on an 8mm camera looking through a peep hole in the SCEA locker room. The silly video looking at our favorite All-Stars make fools of themselves in a commercial that has nothing to do with the actually game is also a waste of time.

Can we just get to the bottom line...
...when are we going to see PS4 vids?
If I buy the PS3 version will I be able to upgrade for $10 like NBA2k14?


Normally the people who spend more money get the better deal. Right now...we get the game later, pay more and have less info. Not to mention that we are getting it after the season starts. WE are also taking a larger risk when it comes to game bugs.

technically none of the developers of the game are wasting time on these videos either, some other production company I'm sure are making the videos. Its not like SCEA is pulling developers away from their desk saying stop working on the game we got to shoot this cheesy commercial.

The developers may not be wasting their time with these videos, but they (SCEA) are wasting our time as the consumers in putting them out instead of anything with real content. The worst part is the timing. They have a new game coming out in just over a month and the consumer has nothing to go off of in terms of official videos. And to be honest I wouldn't expect much in moving forward anyway. Madden and other sports launches coming into a new console generation played things the exact same way. It is clearly a designed marketing strategy to withhold media from these games, especially when companies are selling the same game for the older systems near the same time. SCEA just gets more of a pass in most people's minds because they have a much better track record for producing a successful game. That should not take away from the point that these videos being released are ill-timed and relatively pointless in the grand scheme of marketing this game to the consumers.

I think these type commercials are more a way to get the attention of casual and new gamers, not really intended to influence more dedicated and established gamers such as ourselves.

To be fair, this is how it normally is just a different time of year that's all. The game usually comes out in march and they don't usually release videos or anything until February so actually they are right on schedule with the time frame between info, screenshots and videos for when the game is getting released. As Russell mention in a post in a different thread they have 3 different SKUs to develop and one development crew so with all that aside we should be thankful they have given us any sneak peaks at all.

I would rather ramone say...no footage until after ps3 launch....or no, no $10 up charge for ps4. I feel like we are being left hanging. If this was thq or ea I would not be shocked, but 4 scea this is new.

I feel you my brother. We all want more. More this, more that. April 1st will here less than 6 days. Hope fully we will see some action then. They got sell at least a million copies for the PS3.

If they were the same game on the same system, this would hold true. We've been told the PS4 is a completely different architecture with stadiums that have been built from the ground up. This alone will present more opportunities for bugs. It's not necessarily trolling when someone has a different opinion than you.

True, but Russell even said, the PS4 version wasn't being rushed, it wasn't being released until it was ready to go. They weren't releasing it until they were happy with the product. Therefore, less bugs.
