    Commentary Idea

I have subscribed to the MLB Radio / TV applications for a few years now. When you listen to / watch a game, you have the option to choose between the home broadcast team vs. away broadcast team.

How cool would it be if they were able to record commentary for all MLB broadcast teams for MLB The Show?!!? When you play a game you can choose between hearing the home and away commentary. It would certainly keep the commentary fresh!

The downside is that it would be 30x the work to get all the extra commentary but a guy can dream right?!?!?

One way to recoup that extra cost would be to offer each team's commentary as a paid DLC. I would definitely pay $5 to $10 for a DLC to hear my Braves games done by Skip Carry and Joe Simpson. It would probably have to be a DLC Just because of the giant file size anyways.

    Just a thought!

    Re: Commentary Idea

Although the "idea" ideally would be great, logistically it would probably be so much worse and repetitive. They at least have had Matt Vasgersian (?) record lines for so many years..to have new teams record every year and that many would limit the actual amount lines even more in this game.

I know people find the game stale and boring commentary wise. I play a lot and dont mind it. I watch my home team a lot and find broadcasters repeat themselves a ton. So much so i can predict what they say or going to say about different players on the screen, especially by the end of a series. People watching think im psychic...but most broadcasters, even professionals only have so much unique dialogue.

Improvements can always be made, dont get me wrong, but Im not sure people realize how repetitive real broadcasters are.
