    Re: Digital vs. hard copy?

No preorder bonus for digital. Gamestop and amazon both have bonus for hard copy.

I got Infamous SS digital after I swore I would not go digital for any game with a hard copy on PS4.I split the cost with someone 30$ each for infamous. Some PSN games you have no choice, but to get digital. I do not care that much for Infamous and I would like nothing more than to resell it on Ebay or trade it in. If you dont like a game, after buying it digital your screwed. No more digital games for me on PS4, unless its a digital only game.

I cant stand not being able to hold and touch what i owe. If consoles become like steam on PC and digital only,it would drive me insane. I also refuse to own a kindle etc because I have to touch the book, see it on my collection on the shelf, just like games other wise I feel I do not really own it. I know the future looks bad for people that like hard copies, but till then hard copy only.

Normally id like to go hard copy to have and show off in collection and won't take as much HD space... however as someone mentioned before game isn't coming out in Aust and games here in Aust are about $100 brand new .. going digital means $60 which is about $20 less when you work out the dollar, and id have the game within a few hours rather then wait a week in the post... also it's not really worth keeping old sports games as a hard copy I never ever play them again. I will never play the show 13 or 12 again and I don't trade games in ever. went digital for first time on ps3 going digital for ps4 it's so much easier then having to find a place to buy it and wait for it

Now it can be downloading while I still pplay the PS3 version for a few games when waiting for it to download and install.

and what topped it off going digital for PS3 I got a bonus $10 for speding more then $60 in March. so why not use my $10 off in May?

I dont get this at all, why buy games you dont like? I know what types of games I like and with word of mouth, reviews it's easy to see if a game will be for you or not.

Well Weazel because I liked the other two infamous on PS3. Infamous SS on Ps4 looks good, but overall very short and not as good as the other two. Almost all the reviews were positive for Infamous SS. I really thought I would like it and i did not. This isn't an Infamous message board so no need to say more about the game.

Most of us here know what games we like to and listen to others views here on the forums on reviews etc. Sometimes though even if its a type of game you like, mistakes are still made.

As far as Show 14 goes. How big will the download size be for those who do want to download off the store? I would assume huge

How is that skinit preorder bonus? I know you cant access it yet. Do you know if its only MLB Teams for the controller skin or anything on the website. Only two preorder bonus I know are

Amazon.com Skin bonus and Gamestop $20 in game cash bonus.

Irrelevant, the ps4 lets you play almost instantly as its downloads, and pre-loading is coming to PS4 in April.

Plus going disc you have to use space on the PS4 anyway..NBA 2k disc - uses over 40g on the hard drive.

I don't know, I preordered back in February before they made the bonus available, I'm not sure if I'm eligible for it. I'm thinking about cancelling my order and going for the GameStop bonus.

I enjoy looking at my library, but may go digital here. My first digital copy was this past weekend when my local GameStop didn't have a copy of Metal Gear, and I didn't want to walk back to Walmart across the parking lot. Plus, I know I'm not trading in The Show, ever. Or any game for that matter. I just may be going digital here. A bunch of my friends are getting this system for this game. It's the main reason I got the PS3. Need me a baseball game. Team Digital here.

I've always been very 'pro hard copy' in the past, but MLB 14 will be my first digital game because 1. I can easily throw it on despite whatever disc is in the system. It sounds bad but some nights I'm just too tired to get up and go through my game library to find the game I want to play. With digital, I have easy access to 2 games instantly. And 2. I have no doubt that I will love this years 'the show' and will not have any desire to resell it. And attempts in the past with my ps3 copies have sold for way too cheap: not worth it.

I'm going digital with The Show. The only hard copies I have are NBA 2k14 and BF4. It's similar to the transition from CD to MP3. When was the last time you saw someone walking around with a CD player? Going digital will reduce clutter and it will never get scratched. No more standing in line at midnight releases. When The Show 2015 comes out, it will be easier to compare and contrast with The Show 2014 on the PS4's nice UI. Just close the app, and open the next one. Simple. All I have to do now is buy one of those 1TB Hybrid hard drives for around $104 before my space gets too low, or I can just delete games that I'm not playing. There has been too many times where I've had an itch to play an old game, only to realize that I traded it in. I bet the PS5 won't have a drive at all.

The thing with sports titles is once the real life season is over the value plummets. So if you play through the entire season you wont get much trading in. Dont think you can go wrong either way with sports titles.

I might go digital just so I can play it at my friends house at 4 or 5am. lol

And especially since I'm not going to sell it
