Even though I didn't post much in the previous trade threads, I still follow all the posts... Gives me ideas what I can do in my franchise.

I guess I'll be the one to kick off the trades.....

If Puig is having a good year would the Dodgers move Ethier? I'm thinking ahead for my franchise (Brewers) in the event that Khris Davis doesn't play well I would want to get some help in the OF, and I figured Ethier might be the best guy in the way of a vet. Would he still be valued at 2 low B's and a High C like on last years spreadsheet?

imo, yes Ethier can be had.....As for what he's worth, it really depends on what LAD's situation is when you wanna trade for him

Agree that's he'd be available if Puig, Kemp and Crawford are healthy. Pedersen could be their 4th guy instead. Don't know what contract Ethier has in the game but a high C sounds fair unless he's raking

If you play as Washington you can offer Doug Fister and Ian Desmond to the Angels for Mike Trout and they will accept the deal.

Good example of why this thread is so good. Game's trade logic is still not very good at all.

Trout in particular seems to have lower than expected value, making him an easy get.

Pirates, if they are in desperate needs of an 1bagger. Mets, if Duda and Ike dont get the job done for them. Maybe Padres, but again that just depends on how Alonso is doing.

But the Pirates are the nr. 1 landing spot for Moreland

Are you looking for starting pitching or relievers?

If starting i dont really know either. Maybe Cosart from the 'stros. Or Samardzija, but you gotta give up alot if hes pitching like a badass, Maybe some White Sox pitcher if they are out of it, like Paulino or Danks, Ricky Romero of the Jays(FA)

Relief, Jesse Crain 'stros, Tim Collins Royals (if out of contention), Bastardo, Madson (phillies, FA) Russel, Veras (cubs)

I'm confused as to whether this is referring to Moreland, Davis or Duda, but none of them are worth Quentin, Venable, Denorfia, or Cabrera.

I would first like to know what kind of starting pitcher you want (age, ability, level). Also I would wait till July-ish to find out what teams are in the hunt. Because if you are rebuilding you would have to ship one of your talented veterans to teams looking to be World Series contenders, with your return likely being prospects.

Also, I haven't been around in much of the trade discussion like some of these experts, so if they say something else, you may want to listen to them.

depending on when the trade is being made AND unless the Astros are miraculously contending (even if they are), why would they trade a young piece like Cosart?
