If I were the Astros they wouldn't be on my team anymore. They likely wouldn't be on any team..Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Because of his age/potential and Overall rating I would still think you could get a C Prospect, but it might need to be a Low C or someone who is also struggling and could just use a change of scenery like Cosart.Last edited by Deuce2223; 08-13-2014, 07:51 PM.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Trying to get creative. Don't want Buehrle or Lind as I have better options in the minors. Since they're big contracts I'm looking at a big contract swap.
Papelbon - 7.38 K/9, declining numbers, Phillies are contending and could use them.
Perkins - 3.86 ERA, Twins are surprisingly in first and could use them too but I'm unfamiliar with the Twins' fiscal capabilities.
Bourn - Sooooo baaaad. Dunno how good the fits are though, Indians are sucking.
Aybar - .269 OBP lol. Angels could use them and it's not like Aybar is doing anything. One of the worst players in the league.
Marshall - Getting paid upwards of 7M. Pretty decent stats.
Nolasco - Terrible pitcher lol. Gross contract. Again, Twins contending.
Crawford/Ethier - There was some talk about Ethier/Buehrle fwiw.
Any thoughts on the realism of this?"Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Maybe move one for Crawford and one for Paps ? What would be your plan with Crawford or Ethier?Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Yeah, I agree with this. I think Crawford can still be a good player... He just needs more consistent playing time, to stay healthy and stay away from Boston lol.
I've heard that sound 3 times... once was Babe Ruth, the second was Josh Gibson, and the third was Bo Jackson- Buck O'Neil

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Sorry to knock the thread off of trade talk and all that, but I have a quick question. Where's the arbitration panel thread? It's been done in years past and I think it would, once again, really benefit the community and just help everybody out.Chicago Bulls | Chicago Bears | Chicago White Sox | Chicago BlackhawksComment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I might just deal Lind. STL just lost Adams for the rest of the year and they need a 1B. Potential fits:
Kolten Wong - .243/.320/.339 AAA
Randal Grichuk - .226/.281/.415 MLB
Sam Tuivailala - 39/4 K/BB, 35 IP, 1.54 ERA, AA relief pitcher (probably an accessory piece)
Lind is hitting .240/.300/.475 with 24 homers. If I had to guess at his fWAR, probably 1.5. Pretty decent.
Nats also have a need. Michael A Taylor. Drew Ward. I like those guys. They have Fransden at 1B lol.
Angels don't have a DH an Iannetta is hitting .220. Maybe Lind + Navarro for Iannetta? Clears up the roster spot.Last edited by AC; 08-13-2014, 11:09 PM."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment
