I'm not a fan of the reasoning for the lack of minor league alternates, next-gen games have been getting patches that are several GB and installs have been in the 40-50 GB range for a few.

Still curious to know if there will be more uniform slots on the PS4 compared to the PS3. Stars and Stripes caps give me hope, but for the sake of some people I hope there are more slots. Variety is always nice.

This is year one of next gen. Give it time people, rumors are out there about having 100 GB BluRays not too far down the road. I'm sure a firmware update on PS4 will take care of that AND the possibility of going back to games playing of the disk. Can you imagine next gen games at 75 GB of HD space each. It would make the 500 GB HD laughable.
Also, there is a possibility of coming up with file formats that are more efficient. Similar to the 90s when we had .wav files the were 40 mb for one song and then the .mp3 came about making a compressed version for 4mb with no noticeable difference. The latter is more likely. Look at what people are doing with Bluray movies. They can make a 30 GB movie into a 3GB movie that is still 1080p and 5.1 surround sound.
I give it to maybe the Show 16 until we see major breakthroughs. Just M.O.

Even after getting all of the proper assets, a ton of fine-tuning is left. Sports titles are increasingly engineered to look like a game that is televised as opposed to how it is actually played. Even with the most sophisticated lighting, physics and modeling, there still can be distortions that have to be smoothed out.

With this quote, I hope my comrades in the Blue Jay fandom can calm down about the blue alternate jersey.

That's nice and all but no get it done that's what your paid to do. Ironically they brought up the Indians who have year after year had poor uniforms with plenty of mistakes. I literally just played MLB 14 if you use the alternate home jerseys you should see the helmets!!!
In the end its not like itll be a deal breaker but it sure is annoying when things are misrepresented.
