It's playing the HR cam for all no doubt HR's when it should be playing for only 25% of them this will be corrected in the next title update.

Far more palatable, and while id rather not see the HR Cam at all, considering its a design decision you guys are running with, i think getting 75% no doubters without having to see the HR Cam is a fair compromise.

Even if it is showing at a higher rate by mistake, the issue people have is that it shows up at all. After having to play with it on, since I always have it off, I never want to see it again personally. When I first saw this issue brought up I didn't think it was a big deal, but I've since changed my mind and I definitely want the ability to hide it again. So much work seems to get put into creating a broadcast aesthetic and the HR cam really takes away from that broadcast look, a lot.

This game looks fantastic and I have purchased every version of the show since 08 but this is disappointing. I don't want to instantly know if it is a homer, I wanna watch where the ball goes. I've never played with that hr cam on. I hope they will be able to patch in the option to turn the hr cam off! Options are always good. I never ever have any problem with any feature in any game, all I ask is an option to turn it on or off.

The Home Run camera really takes the drama out of watching the ball leave the yard in the regular view.

In the regular view, when a home run leaves the bat there's always that initial reaction by the user -- "Hey, that's a got chance" -- followed by the ball sailing higher and higher in the air as the outfielder runs toward the fence -- and then there's that moment of exhilaration when the user see the ball clear the fence. There are also times when you may think you have hit a homer and the ball falls just short -- crushing your spirit.

The home run cam ruins all that drama. As soon as the camera changes you know it's gone.

Hopefully, the option to turn off the Homer Cam can be restored.

I'd have to agree with the calls to bring the option back to turn it off. I've always turned it off in past games and would not be a fan of even a 25% rate.

I have a question that I am not sure if it is clear....

Is the HR cam going to be on 25% of the time, just when using broadcast hitting, or whatever the new camera angle is?

If I use a custom cam angle, or one of the classic ones, will it still show HR Cam?

on the new vid posted today, theres an epic Chris Davis HR, and it tracks the ball into the seats. looks good

That HR tracking camera they showed with Chris Davis is PERFECT. Sony, please never change that. You can now erase that behind the batter, "no doubter" cam that we've had for years out of the game. Its no longer needed with this new one.

It's funny how the smallest things can really turn you/me off a game. I have always loved this game, pretty much everything about it. However, i guess this year with the big delay between real life opening day and the ps4 game dropping I lost some interest. Been debating every night if I should play or not play. Well, I finally decide to go with it and start a franchise. Last night playing as the Rockies it hit a HR with Charlie Blackmon. Same view as always. Well, I decided tonight to go ahead with my gut and play as the dodgers. Top 8 in a 0-0 game, I got uribe on first...Carl Crawford comes up, I swing and what the hell pops up on my screen, the dumbest thing I've ever seen....the HR cam. So no problem, I can turn it off. Nope, don't see the option but I must be missing it. So I come here and are you ****tin me, no option to turn thay arcade view off? Come on SCEA....you guys are better than this. You know that most show plauers are hardcore sim guys. Why would take the option away? Because that janky azz HR cam is something u see at the arcades, not the show.

Back to my original point. Something this small has pretty much ruined it for me. I hate that and I know it's picky but I just can't play a sim baseball game with. HR cam. Unbelievable.
