    PS4 screenshot of Cabrera

Can someone post a picture of Comerica park from that same angle?
I don't have my ps3 anymore but I'm almost certain those tigers on the scoreboard were cardboard in The Show 13...

This right here should seal the deal. It's a PS3 shot. No way it's a PS4 shot since they built the stadiums from scratch for the PS4.

If it is a PS4 shot, the stadiums are not completely built from scratch or the programers made the same mistake with how the scoreboard displays that they made years ago.

        I'd guess it's PS3.

Someday we'll get it. Along with pullover jerseys, sansabelt pants, and shoulder blade numbers on NNOB jerseys.

This is a weird shot, almost a hybrid of ps3 and ps4.

If it's ps4 colour me un impressed for the most part

I don't know what to think anymore haha.
Can't someone take a screenshot from that exact angle from The Show 14 on the ps3? That should do it.

The other pictures are a better indication of the softer look on the edges while maintaining the great resolution. I'll stick to those for now as a basis of what we're going to see when we get the game. I don't expect our televisions to have this amount of ringing and halos around the edges of every contrasting surface.
I agree Blzer. The detail is nice, but it's unrealistic to have detail from close-up and far away, all in the same shot. We shouldn't be able to see the detail of the bricks, and crowds along with the sharp edges of Cabrera's cleats. No depth of field in this shot.

Here's a good example of what I mean in the pic JibJab 24 posted. If the focus is on Cabrera, the crowd should be blurred out.

Not necessarily, depends on the camera settings.

OK, that pic wasn't a great example because Cabrera isn't in motion. In sports shots where the focus is on a moving athlete, the background is blurred out. I know there are landscape camera settings that can sharpen an entire still image.

While I agree with that as well, that's not really what I mean. I mean yeah, that can make the shot not look as artistically... awesome, but I think this image has some post-processing filters and effects applied to it. I think there has been added sharpness, which IMO never makes a shot look better. It just looks significantly worse.

We could capture this on our own PS4's (and silly me, I don't have one), and our shots would come out much nicer, whether the background is in clear detail or not. I think this was just more of a viral banner, and they wanted to do something different with it. That's fine by me, but I wouldn't include it in the batch of "screenshots for this game," if that makes sense.

This has to be PS3, the ballpark doesn't look anywhere near as detailed as it was in the other PS4 screens. It looks... last-gen.

No offense intended, but some of you guys are hard to please. The shot looks really good to me. I mean, in the context of a video game, it looks like Cabrera (down to the cleat studs and arm veins) and it looks like the stadium. It's fun to nitpick a screenshot (since we don't have any other PS4 media), but some of you guys are brutal. This is the kind of thing where being 40 is nice. I guess I'm easily pleased.

I feel where you are coming from, but I didn't buy a $400 piece of hardware to have to debate whether or not a screen is PS4 or PS3. I want to be able to see the difference, night and day.

Believe me, I'm pleased, I was just going on a limb.

The big difference with this shot versus the other ones releases is the lack of DOF, which is odd since its featured heavily in other PS4 media they've released. It does make it look, odd compared to the other shots released so far.

Now that the cleat spikes are more detailed I wonder if they might ever add in a plastic or metal option in the editor. A lot of players are using MCS cleats now.
