I've never played in an online league so wasnt aware if the batting/pitching/fielding options were user specific or league specific. Any idea if baserunning is user specific as well? Other then that, in the event I missed it, will we be required to stream CPU games? Not that it technically matters to me as I can stream them fine, or should be able to, but was curious regardless. As for rosters, any restrictions that might pertain to a baseball league? Having run a Madden league for many years Im familiar with the issues there but not when it comes to online leagues and The Show.

We'd strongly prefer people to stream CPU games. In regards to roster rules, we only want players playing in their primary or secondary positions listed. No playing anyone out of position, except in the event of the rare 15+ extra inning marathon games. We are still figuring out contract rules which we need to figure out soon for signing free agents.

TSN, but like I said thought Russel confirmed it was available for online modes.

I don't know where your getting the assertion from that SCEA is removing quick counts from online franchise. Based on that thread I see a moderator saying that quick counts wasn't supposed to be included in online ranked matches and the quoted post from Russel doesn't say anything about it not being in online franchise.

Moses that don’t support QC, are RTTS, Show Live, and Diamond Dynasty.

PL isn’t in RTTS, Show Live, Diamond Dynasty, and ALL online modes except for Online Franchise (but PL is only functional for vs CPU games).

Am I missing something?

I ask because Ive always used auto baserunning in my offline franchise just because I could never get the hang of them for some reason. Having said that if I were to have to get better at it then so be it but would be curious to know what the options are.

User specific. But unfortunately, auto-baserunning isn't available in online modes so you'll have to practice and get better at it. I feel it's pretty intuitive once you get the hang of it, but I know I've had my fair share of TOOTBLAN (thrown out on the bases like a nincompoop) moments.

Yeah Im interested, seems like every league out there is already filled as far as LA is concerned so if it comes to it Ill roll offline with LA. Chicago is intriguing, more so then KC and Minnesota for sure so Ill gladly take them.

Yeah that's true as of right now. Our goal is to get through 2 seasons.

In a Nutshell: QC is part of most MLB'14 modes, including certain Online/Offline game types quoted above however (Diamond Dynasty, ShowLive. RTTS will not feature QC or PL)

Quick Count will be offered as an enable/disable option by a game to game basis. Unless locked in a Online Chise mode. Which means a Commish/Admin has the power of turning it On or Off during creation that automatically rules out any other member from activating/deactivating this feature.

Player Lock on the other hand has multiple uses for it's options. It can used in many enable/disable forms. For instance while in Season/Chise mode you can have it locked from the very beginning of setup (frontend), saving the user time from changing it on a game by game basis. Or you can disable PL or switch and choose another player all while in-game. In closing PL really offers the user no restriction zone while QC will need certain front end restrictions from it's audience.

U could carry into next years game, you just edit the rosters, you just wont have the generated players that you draft

A lot of users have expressed interest in filling the league with 30 users. So we are opening up the remaining teams for 4 more users.

Someone signed up as the As today, just didn't get a chance to update the thread. Would you be interested in the Twins or Padres? Those are the only 2 teams we have left right now. Or would you like to go on a waiting list? I'm sure that some of the people who signed up for the league won't end up joining. Happens all the time.
