100% agree more then likely when you see people complain that they want new gameplay this is what they are talking about!

More Human and less Robotic animations all around.

Exactly more life like animations would make the gameplay even better then it does ...Every time I see that animation for the players slide into second or third looks like they break there leg and the way they catch ball track the ball jus looks odd at times ..

Expecting new player models on a new system out the gate is not expecting to much not when your moving to much more powerful system SCEA jus decided they wanted to wait so that they could give us something new down the road .. These player models and yes the way they move and way the game plays has been the same to me since 2009..

Lighting is nice. Crowd audio is abit dead reacting to home runs (same as ps3 crowd after homeruns)

You don't have to be physic to see they didn't touch the player models yet. Just need to have two eyes, or even one for that matter.

what makes you positive player models were not enhanced ? I have 20/20 vision and they appear better for sure.

They are not the same player models. Take a look at the comparisons shots posted earlier in the thread...pretty obvious.

Now....same skeletons is what I believe Woodweaver stated was one of the "holdover" assets from the PS3 version.

During gameplay vid 2 does anyone else hear Shook Me All Night Long - AC/DC , when the twins batter is at the plate bout 9 secs in. I only noticed it when i used my headphones. Do i need to get my hearing checked ?

Two things that stand out as I watched them:

1) the outfields still seem really small. In that second video, the RF ends up about 5 feet away from the 2B when he throws it in on a routine ground ball single. How is a bloop ever expected to fall in if they can touch each other in 4 seconds?

2) something about the jerseys seems off. The fronts look like the players are wearing bullet proof vests underneath or something. They don't move and just stop at the belt, dip in and go into the pants. Looks odd.

I do have to agree with this. The outfields do seem pretty small. And the jerseys too, they, along with the body models always seemed kind of buff and stiff. But first year on next gen, I'll definitely take it. Now if it isn't improved some by next year or the year after, we may need to talk then... but for now, it looks REALLY good.
