For me it was hard to tell how really good they look as they went through the process so fast.

Umm..this kinda sucks from what I see in the video, now they have either stubble or Napoli/Gomes long beard but no in between. As for the hair, I have a feeling the "long" hair they had in game will probably be actually longer as the usual full beard is now long. Ah well, I guess if we want normal beard, we may have to do few stubbles to give it a full beard look (not long but medium if you get what I mean) Should have stubble, medium, long. Ah well, looking forward to the game though!

The facial hair length is the same as in the PS3 version... But, yes the new animated hair creates the issue of either going full caveman or stubble, there's no hipster middle ground.

We can't really come to this conclusion yet, seeing as Ramone said that was NOT the final build of the game. For all we know, there are more options and they just weren't in that build so he couldn't use them. Wait and see.

Yeah never thought of that. Hopefully that's the case. We wouldn't know till we finally put the game into the PS4 (well hope my PS4 will be available that day as well lol)

Treeline looks good, the rest not so much...

They did such an amazing job on the real MLB stadiums that I don't mind it at all. Just got me wondering if they were rebuild as well.

There's a reason for that--and it's not Sony San Diego's fault.

No, it's more than triangles. It's complexity of design, of animation, of texture. Compared to the player models of real people, it really feels transition-y.

I think that it looks fantastic, though I do agree with the "transitiony" argument and viewpoint to an extent. The thing to keep in mind, though, is that this is a transition year essentially. Look at MLB 07 on the PS3 and compare it to MLB 14. This is the PS4's MLB 07 more or less. It can only get better from here and I believe that it's already looking very, very good.
