Ahh I see they closed the grass thread but ones like this stay open. Very nice. I won't be coming back here for a bit as its useless with the mods here. Oh wells. Enjoy your ****ty looking grass for another year OS mods.

And to the mod that closed that thread. What other thread? A year ago? What are you even talking about... and then don't ask me theoretical questions in your own response after closing a thread. Good god. I was trying to cut down on spammers coming into a thread to whine or cry about how grass look so perfect and tidy. That is about all that is about. I wanted to have a discussion from people that actually visited stadiums and what they think when they come back and play The Show is all. It wasn't a wishlist type of thing. But I'm used to the fascist nature of these boards and its why I rarely come around. Good riddance.

A PM would have sufficed and it's not fair to derail this thread since this is about this years game not next years game as yours was.

For what it's worth, I agree with grass patterns, but we just don't need a thread discussing next years game. Those were your words not mine so playing the victim card is pretty weak.

I'm not going to ban you for being upset with me, I would ask that if you would actually like to act like an adult, you PM me rather than derailing a thread that you clearly have a problem with for whatever reason.

I am not a Jays fan but I am a huge baseball fan and I get a lot of enjoyment from The Show every year.


And, I want all you guys to enjoy the game too. I mean, we are a fraternity of sorts because we all love baseball and love The Show!


To the Jays fans: I'm glad the color thing was straightened out. I would be bummed if my favorite team had wrong colors, even if it was only a shade or two off. I mean, think about it, we play with our favorite team most of the time. Wouldn't it suck, even just a little if the color was off and we had to see it every single game?

All igloos will be closed for the day.
The roads are clogged with mush dogs and sleds in and around the Rogers Centre(you guys spelled it wrong) with people trying to get season tickets now.

Centre is re cause it's a building. Center means the middle of something, centre means like a building.

Oh, don't get me wrong. It looks LOADS better. But they didn't touch the color at all. That's the exact same color they use on the PS3.

For anyone who is still questioning whether the actual uniform colour was altered, I present:





With both pictures being taken from night games you can tell that it is definitely more than just a lighting upgrade and that the actual uniform colour was adjusted.

I'm glad they fixed it (especially for Blue Jay fans who were upset), but I actually didn't mind the darker blue. I thought it was a good color.

I also look at it and wonder why, with the 1000's of great things about this game, people get so hung up on minor issues. That is not meant offensively, but it is minor, and you can still play the game with it. Yes, other teams have minor mistakes (which are annoying and would be nice to be fixed), but when you look at this game...BY FAR, the best baseball game ever made, and there have been a few other really good ones, so I cannot help but just love how it plays!!!

Color, create-a-player, wrong named manager...this game is FAR TOO AWESOME! to let that drag it down for me.

(plus, Babe Ruth can now be #3, Mays can be #24; Aaron can now be #44; PLUS, my C doesn't have to play SS anymore when he is the last bench player and pinch hits for the SS, while the back-up SS pinch-ran for the C on 2nd base {which also meant I had the SS stuck at C [now that one made "those" games unplayable/unrealistic; that was one worth complaining about and it is now fixed]})

This is really awesome. And, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there going to be just better dynamic range between all of the colors on the PS4? I feel like in the PS3 a lot of the colors were flat, and kind of washed out; they didn't really pop.

If it was just a lighting issue. Every teams uniforms would now change to a brighter color.

Seriously dude, I don't even know how you can be so obtuse. Anyone in their right mind knows full well that older color is pretty much not acceptable. I am sorry Blue Jays fans had to deal with it for so long. If I was a hardcore Jays fan there is no way I could even play the game in those jerseys knowing the color was that off. I mean that is like WAY off man. Some people just don't really seem affected by details and seem to lack any understanding about history and accuracy.

I mean why don't we just start changing colors of all the teams and see how that goes? Who cares right? From a gameplay standpoint The Show has always played well for its time. I don't think that is the only concern people have with a SIMULATION of MLB BASEBALL.

I'm also questioning if people are seriously color blind? How can you not tell that is a different color?

Honestly, if the community here ever stops demanding tiny details to be added I would never come back to this place because it would be totally useless. Some people are way too easily amused.

Im glad they fixed it, whatever they changed. Sucks that Brett doesnt have his tattoos, hopefully that gets changed in the future but isn't that something to do with the MLB and that they wont allow tons of tattoos?
