Created a shortstop and chose to be drafted by the Mets...lord knows they need some help there.
I tore it up for this first month, batting .340 with 20 RBI's and 4 HR's, all with pretty paltry ratings. By some miracle, Tejada was batting .317 with like a .400 OBP, which didn't help in my hopes of an early call up straight to the pros. Also botched the showcase (this is my first time playing any of The Show games), so starting with a D potential couldn't have helped.
Anyway, I'm on dynamic difficulty, and finding Veteran difficulty is much tougher with the timing + zone hitting incorporated. I'm watching my average drop below .300 , and I'm hitting high, easy out popups for the first time. I'm tempted to scale down the difficulty so I can ensure I do well and get promoted. ..but I would like to improve in case I play a friend, or go online against random people. It's tempting though since it's a real grind with how few points they give you after each game to improve your ratings.
