are there still CGI faces when a player is traded or signs with a new team?

Re: are there still CGI faces when a player is traded or signs with a new team?
For me, I'd rather it be the same all the way around than half and half. I use the work around for Franchises so ALL the players have cyber faces. To me, it doesn't look as good (using all cyber faces) as it would if they were able to photoshop all team hats onto all the players with portraits, but maybe it will look better on PS4... since the player faces will look better in game.Comment

Im assuming this workaround came about in MLB 13 when they introduced correcting team hats to these type of players. How does this league wide cyber face workaround, work?Red LegendComment

When you start a franchise turn fantasy draft on. Once the draft screen appears DO NOT DRAFT anyone just back out of the screen and it will take you to your main franchise screen and every player will have a cyber photo. This workaround works in 14 for the PS3 as well.Last edited by ShowTyme15; 04-16-2014, 11:39 PM.Comment

YES!!!
I started to respond before to someone else in this thread, but my rechargeable batteries had died in my keyboard. Someone said they think it "was not included," and I was writing in that this would upset me.
I also wish he hadn't bummed me out by saying that with out substantiation, as we are so close now and I want to know answers (like: extra uniforms? corrected glitches? other differences with ps3? etc.) but am left just wondering. Thank goodness we got an official answer to put that one to bed!
I am so glad to see this is here, as it is the ONLY way I want it (could get rid of real pictures for me, no problem; when they have throwbacks on I'd rather see the cyber-face true uni they are wearing then a picture with the main uni).Comment

I'm fine with the way it is done now, but you do see ESPN and the likes show a traded player in his new hat shortly after a trade. I'm also curious as to why a new photo couldn't be added in after launch? In the same file that is downloaded with rosters that is.
Not really a big issue though.Comment

I like the player portraits, but I think it's more meant for the casual players. Hardcore MLB fans, like myself, already know what all the players look like. Which makes the franchise mode cyber face work-around a really awesome thing to see.Comment

I'm not a hardcore fan but I would much rather everyone have a cyber face because I think it looks better.Comment
