Re: retractable roofs
Re: retractable roofs
IMO for these to be in next year demands one of two things: the present stadiums that need them have to be prerendered to accept the modifications, which can be very tricky but doable if the work was already put it. If not then the stadium guys have to do separate stadiums which could take a lot of time. Still doable if it is a priority.
I think it basically comes down to how much do people even notice it during an actual game.... that answer varies. I think they definitely need to be in by 16 though no matter what.Comment

Re: retractable roofs
It was brought up in another discussion a few months back. They would have to build the 6 retractable roof stadiums separately. Those 6 teams would have 2 separate models. 1 closed and 1 open. Devs mentioned that.IMO for these to be in next year demands one of two things: the present stadiums that need them have to be prerendered to accept the modifications, which can be very tricky but doable if the work was already put it. Re: retractable roofs
Offcourse it can be done but with all the next level lighting tech, engines and what not it's probably alot more time consuming to make than during the MVP days...
Eventually we'll get it, next year...maybe otherwise my guess is definitely in The Show 16."When it's all set and done, reality is the best innovation."Comment

Re: retractable roofs
When there is a product that comes out once a year, the devs have to come up with new features each and every year to keep the consumer happy. I'm sure SCEA has a list and plan of new features for the next 3 years of release.

Re: retractable roofs
Interesting although not entirely up to date article, in the first 2 years of it's exsitence the roof of Marlins Park has only been open 21 times. Concluding The Show should rather a closed roof version of the Ballpark than the open one..Spending time with Jesus!

Re: retractable roofs
Don't you guys think that by having the roofs on or off, we may finally move towards a weather system in that mimics real games and can have an impact on the video game ball field? I can go either way on the roofs but if it leads to snow in Detroit in April and rain in Miami, I think it could really add to the realism if done properly.Comment

I think the retractable roof versions of stadiums will make it latest into the show 17, then they can also start working on the weather.Don't you guys think that by having the roofs on or off, we may finally move towards a weather system in that mimics real games and can have an impact on the video game ball field?
