How far are we going to go with this. I don't see hotdog vendors in the stands or the guy in upper deck at Shea Stadium smoking a J. I guess that would add to the authenticity. But at some point...we need to get over ourselves.

What matters is gameplay, graphics, and animations. This game appears to deliver on those fronts.

Yep, and it's your right to ask for those things as well.

It's not a big deal, people are allowed to ask for whatever they want, it doesn't mean it happens. PVark posted a great reason why this is more than just aesthetics.

Why should they not continue to strive for realism? The core gameplay is great, yes, but why should we settle. As consumers we need to keep demanding innovation and authenticity or who knows what could happen with the game.
