Agreed. The Mets have some young pitching, but pretty much no hitting in the minors (Nimmo and Smith are years away). On the ML roster, the outfield is a mess unless you believe in Lagares (and even if you do...), while the only star hitter is now 31 and would need to seriously be considered as a trading chip.

They are the biggest rebuild in my opinion, I just can't bring myself to play as a team from New York lol

The Diamondbacks would be a good rebuilding candidate. Their farm system is weak and have no major league depth, could take several years to turn them around.

I'm gonna be the marlins. I'm gonna sign a bunch of high profile players. Get big advertising money. Then sell off the players and profit. Repeat this every few years

I think I may actually do the Marlins and/or Cubs because of how good Jose Fernandez and Giancarlo Stanton are, they could form a phenom duo going into the future for MIA and they have a couple decent prospects, but the Cubs for sure have a top 3 minor league system with maybe only the Twins ahead of them

Considering you're a Red Sox fan.. And i'm not just saying this cause I love the Cubs... You should really do the Cubs.

1) Fantastic Minor Leagues.
2) You do have challenges with this - Win while you rebuild, and acquiring top younger pitching. So it's not a walk in the park with Cubs fans
3) You're a Red Sox fan. Why not come to a plave where we also have a huge WS drought? You know our pain (not really, but almost the same) and will work to win us our first
4) Coming from Fenway, you will love the beauty and history and age of Wrigley, it's a landmark just like Fenway.

So, the Cubs are a great choice for you. :-)

Plus Red Sox fans owe a lot to Theo as well.

Haha I thought about using them too. But then as I started thinking about what I'd do with them to start, I came up with nothing. I liked Davidson, Eaton, Skaggs, and Upton. The problem with them is their farm system is weak, and they don't have anyone with high trade value at the major league level to get a nice return. Maybe Goldy or Trumbo or some of the pitching (not Bradley).

In my opinion, they're one of the toughest ones because of those reasons. At least the Mets have guys like Wright and Granderson that could be traded for a nice haul, and they also have some potential future stars in Harvey, Wheeler, Syndegaard, and D'Arnaud to build around.

Goldy is worth more than both Wright and Granderson, but I agree other than that there is nothing

Mariners. I'm biased, of course.

1) Four playoff appearances in their history and a fourth place finish in eight out of 10 years.

2) Safeco Field and fairly nice uniforms.

3) Young, SCEA players complete with real portraits and stances/motions. James Paxton, Taijuan Walker, Mike Zunino, Brad Miller, and Nick Franklin. Can you turn these unproven kids into legitimate MLB caliber players?

4) King Felix and Iwakuma to go along with the kids. Robinson Cano.

5) A farm system that has mostly been depleted by recent prospect graduations. There is some talent there and you have one of the best roster makers around (seanjeezy) is responsible for the M's system.

6) Semi-young players with a lot to prove in Justin Smoak, Dustin Ackley, and to a lesser extent, Kyle Seager.

A lot of work left to do with the M's.

I'm considering Toronto. I might "undo" the Dickey trade and over time build a rotation around Sanchez, Syndergaard, and Stroman.

I have to go with My favorite team the Colorado Rockies. I plan to focus mostly on building a solid Rotation. I feel our Offense is solid. Replacing Helton that's a task in its self. as a bonus and yes I am biased here, can't go wrong with Coors Field.

Tigers. They have some good ML players but their minor league system is garbage. Could trade some vets for some nice prospects.
