I remember reading a couple of weeks ago that there would be no demo for the ps4. I would attach the thread if I could remember where I read it. Sorry.

There hasn't been a demo since MLB 11 The Show, so I wouldn't bet on it.

There hasn't been a new console since before then either so the past cannot exactly be used as a guide here.

I think it would make sense to release one for the PS4 this year just to ease any concerns that anyone may have that the game won't play quite as well as it did on the PS3 (though all the videos and previews I've read have long since eased my mind on that concern personally).

That being said, I think that if there was going to be one it would have been announced by now. If we don't see one next Tuesday then I would say we definitely won't have one. And if we don't hear about it within the next day or so I would say that the odds of one coming out would be slim to none.

Don't quote me on this because I'm not 100% confident but I'm fairly certain (90% sure) I read/saw an interview somewhere saying they don't do demos anymore because it's not worth it. They don't translate into more sales so it's a waste of resources. Their time and money can be better spent improving the game rather than providing an early demo.

I'm rather surprised they didn't do a demo for PS4. On a new system that is currently lacking games, you could have gotten those "oh yeah, a baseball game" and "man this looks amazing" sales. With how bad the PS3 version sold it's first week, I just hope there were a lot of PS4 holdouts who don't need a demo.
