Call me old or whatever, but I am one of those people that despise online... online simply DOES NOT work in sports games, it becomes way to compedative and people play the game in their own way to do anything they want to do to try and win. and people exploit it, then there is the issues of lag disconetions etc etc etc.

I like to have real freinds over sitting around the TV having a drink talking having a laugh at funny things that happen in the game and stayng up till 3am playing games.

Online just can't work for sport games for me if playing real people. onlines works for games like COD GTA or any RPG, it just has to many flaws for sporting games and people whinging at each other are aruging on what playing like cheese is etc Golf would be the only game that would work online, it would be impossible for people to explot that sport in the way that is not in the spirit of the game

Competitiveness is the only reason why I play video games. Winning is what is fun. I do understand your point though, and I don't want to say my opinion of sports gaming is better than yours because that would just be ignorant and defy the definition of an "opinion."

I also think it people with higher skill levels play (and get joy) online. No one likes getting their head bashed in all day.

Give me the competition, give me the glory, give me the nervousness, give me the emotion... that is video games and that is online gaming.

Online worked fine on ps2 lol at too competitive isnt that the point

to some degree, but there are people that take it farrrrr to serious. people whinging about others that quit a game when their getting beat,

I've heard people scream at each other on GTA online for killing them. Online people take it to serious and your actually interacting with real people that are humans, or people taking shots at each other becasue they suck if it's a game like World of Warcraft and you get thesae geeks who think because they sit on a computer 24/7 that a casual gamer will have their knowledge and know everything as well.

Online soical media etc are killing real socal contact and casue more problems then anything. ok I am 32 years old I grew up in the era where you had to use a phone to talk to someone or talk to them face to face rather then send a facebook message to say hello or a email to contact a family member, it's to inpersonal.

I play games to have fun. if I play online I like to have fun lose some games win some games, of cause I would prefer to win

I don't want the stress of people taking so seriously down the other end, and there is to much of it with online gaming

again then why are we all here at OS there are more than enough sim/straight players here that play the games the right way
