There's a difference between 2kSports and SCEA. Two completely different companies. Completely different set of rules to follow. Pretty sure SCEA will never do uniform updates while still having to follow the style guide. Until they are no longer bound by that, I doubt you'll ever see uniform updates in the show. If it were that easy to do a uniform update SCEA would have done it already (even on the PS3). Some things are easier said than done.

I'm not saying it would be easy, only that it should be possible. Of course SCEA and 2K are different companies, as are MLB and the NBA. Having said that, I'm sure 2K has to follow an NBA style guide to follow as well, as do all companies that are working creatively with major sports franchises/leagues.

We are not bashing him. I was simply saying we are spoiled. The game is fun no? You like playing baseball no? What I was saying is he is nitpicking the game to DEATH. its like not eating your wonderful meal at your favorite restaurant because one of your fries had a fleck of pepper on it. Throw the fry away...and enjoy your meal. Of course as a consumer he has the right to not eat there, or not buy the show. But for miniscule reasons you will get crucified. And yup...that is just my opinion man.

Honestly guys I didn't create this thread to sound like a whiner...I appreciate all the developers do to create this game every year...MLB 14 looks absolutely incredible for PS4

My main hope in creating this thread was that maybe a developer would notice and realize they made a silly mistake and fix it...

2k adds missing uniforms to their game with each update...I don't see why SCEA wouldn't be able to do the same thing...

I understand your frustration, but chances are it's not a silly mistake. These guys have a list they work on to get into each years game. Certain things take priority, especially with only a 9 month development cycle. While it may seem like such a simple thing, it really isn't when you have 130 other things that are "simple", plus 5 big time consuming ones.

The simple part is getting the issue on the list, the hard part is finding the time to fix it.

What bothers me most is that people always preach the Style Guide...only uniforms from the Style Guide are allowed in the game.

The Mets blue uniforms are part of the style guide, yet they didn't make into the game. Not sure why they would do that.

1. Comparing NBA 2k and MLB the Show is like comparing apples to oranges. 2 different games from 2 different sports.
2. I know for a fact the devs know about this because it was mentioned and replied to on the bug reports, so opening a new thread trying to get the devs to fix it by saying you are not buying the game is not going to get anything fixed. Not trying to be mean but this is kind of why people are giving you a hard time.

They have to make a choice. Go read the bug report about the Mets uniforms. Like bluengold34_OS just said they have a list to work off of. They chose the Camo instead of he Blue apparently.

Choosing the camo uniforms (that they only wear a handful of times) over the Blue uniforms in which they wear almost every other day is unacceptable to me. Makes absolutely no sense.

Bayman has confirmed that there were no uniform slots added for the PS4 version......I'll be saving my money for next years game...

That tells me the Mets blue home/away uniforms didn't make it in for a 2nd straight season despite being in the style guide...

I'll be saving my money for next years game...

MLB The Show offers a variety of team uniforms based off of the uniforms provided by Major League Baseball. Sometimes a team may have more uniforms available then we can add to our game, and this is the case regarding the home white uniforms that are not in MLB 14. MLB The Show will offer 1 away & 1 home alternative uniform, and the NY Mets had 5 total alternative unifoms for us to choose from to add into MLB 14 The Show.

May have misunderstood this but did that just say they didn't include the Mets Home All White uniforms either?

They wear the home white more than any other jersey. If they didn't include that jersey the developers need to be fired. That's a HUGE mistake.

Taking the snow white uniforms out is a horrible move by them. I will definitely not be giving them my money now. Absolute joke.

So because the Mets don't have the right jerseys, the devs should lose their jobs? Unless this costs SCEA thousands of dollars in sales(obviously not), I think they will stay put...
