Since my name is in audio, I use that for my ss. I usually make a power hitting 1b and choose random names, but have his nickname as "Big Daddy". He usually tends to look like McGwire, lol. For my pitcher, I'll generally choose random audio names that sound cool to me.

I have always used my name, but this year I want to make a character up. I am using the name of UofA HOFer back in 1957. Marty Hurd, and I will try and give him a shot at reaching the big leagues.

My real name, the Show is the only game that doesn't censor my last name and actually lets me be me. They have audio for it too.

All other sports games censor it by changing it to something random, or telling me flat out that it has offensive characters in it and cant be used.

What the....

You should've just posted your last name because the ones I'm giving you in my head are probably much worse. LOL!

I am coming over from Xbox so this is the first year I get to officially have my own copy of The Show.

Normally I use my own name for one position player (typically a power hitting/defensive 1B) and a starting pitcher.

However, I am think about starting off with a rocket-armed RF that hits at a .280 clip with 20-25 HRs but he will still have my name. I might also copy Jeter and create his fictional illegitimate son's career at SS if it copies how he (Derek Jeter) looks.

I always use my son's name. The game doesn't have our last name, so I use something that sounds close for the announcer's pronunciation.

I made a new name. I always like to have a name that has audio associated with it.

I made "Doyle" (after O'Doyles from Billy Madison) "Offerman" (after Nick Offerman who plays Ron Swanson in Parks and Recreation)
