Guy is playing at Busch now in the rain, grey skies at dusk, I think. It is not as dark out in the seats as other pics I have seen, but the second deck is dark already. Funny there is a comment complimenting the lighting.

*Sorry about the cuss words in the other screen grabs with the comments in them, couldn't turn them off and wasn't paying attention to them at the time.

stands are never that dark unless they turn the lights out ... only reason I can think of why they did it is because it was causing problems seeing the ball with their new camera

I hope they can patch that, but probably looking at a lot of people being disappointed

Yeah so far it looks little lighter but the Cardinals sign above the jumbotton is not lit up

Depends on where the light source hitting them is from. It seems like that scoreboard is casting a shadow on the upper deck seats in RF there. The other, lower sections are better lit and don't look as bad. I mean, to a camera that doesn't overexpose during a shot the sights outside of a stadium's lights are pretty dark looking during a game or broadcast. When you are sitting there with the naked eye you can see the skyline just fine, but unless you adjust your camera the right way you cannot get the city in a picture to look bright. I am guessing that is what is going on here, just with parts of the seating in the stadium, perhaps. Just a guess.

And yeah, that Cardinals sign being lit up would go a long way in helping, but it doesn't look like it will as it is now.

Here is my take-

Saw a shot during the inning just now, the outfield stands were displayed properly and you could see the fans and lighting was great.

They are doing some type of dynamic lighting to darken everything except the playing field. When you move towards the stands, the lighting changes and they light up.

I have no clue why they did this, but it looks to be a decision made on purpose.

Yea I'm watching the same UStream, as the innings go on the outfield bleachers look darker and darker as Busch field. Other than that I think the game looks really good and I can't wait to play

It still looks pretty dark in the outfield not sure why bc the stadium lights are on jus the cola sign not lit and looks like the cardinal /Budweiser sign is not either ..

Yeah, the good news is that as the camera follows the ball into the outfield for a play it shows those areas as if they are properly lit up with no real issues. I am sure this was by design as well.

Yeah I think you proubaly right jus looks way to dark out there when hitting to me .. It is what it is other then that im ready to play it lol

It doesn't look nearly as bad on this stream as the other pics I have seen. I think once we get it home and on our screens it will be better, too. The Cardinals/Budweiser sign does actually give off some light, just not enough compared to other stadium's signs.

Thanks for the screenshots, was trying but wasn't paying full attention. Send them to a mod and see if we can get them added to the image thread so everyone will see the example.

When the guy first loaded the Braves vs. Cards at the Busch. It looked lit up around and it changed. The lights are on at the ballpark, but Jumbo-tron & Cardinals isn't lit. Should be fixable! Just post it the bug report in "Shownation.com". They really check the reports and give you honest feedback...

So I'm pretty disappointed that Brandon Hicks isn't on the roster, yet they still have Scutaro even though he's been injured for like ever now!

AT&T up now and it looks amazing. Was just there for a game in Sept. and they really did a great job getting the nuances down. All of the American flags kind of takes a little bit away. As does that giant yacht parked in McCovey Cove, but nothing that I would cry about. The yacht looks a little low res and it would be unrealistic having that thing parked there for every game during a franchise, but whatever.

Yea the stadium looks awesome minus the flags (that bugs me) but other than that it's awesome! I missed the Yacht out in the Cove when they showed it

There was a roster update dated April 28th that I had to download. I definitely used it in the Angels Dodgers video as Hamilton is out of the lineup. Perhaps the user didn't have it loaded?
