I am going to get the game on Tuesday like so many, I am wondering how is it that some folks are able to get the game early?

Tuesday can't get here fast enough for me lol

So I see folks with the game already and I want to know what stores generally get games early? Lord knows it is not Gamestop lol. So maybe next year I can jump in early!

PS. Is it Tuesday yet?

2.. Gamestop does get games early, they just dont sell them until street date.

People are getting them from smaller, independent video game stores that are willing to break the "street date." And, for all we know, some of the copies that are floating around are probably stolen. But we'll just pretend we didn't know that as we go hunting for them lol


All stores get the game at least 3-4 days early, usually earlier. Any big box retailer like GameStop, Best Buy, Walmart, etc will not sell them early (although employees of those places might be figuring out ways to get themselves copies early). But smaller non-corporate stores sometimes do

I figure the majority of the people who have the game early are people who have some sort of connection to the stores (either employees or family, friends or associates of the employees) or as you said people who obtained the game from a mom and pop retailer. For the rest of us ... we must exercise patience.
