CPU practice swing?

Does the cpu batter ever practice swing? From the streams I've seen they seem just stand in the batters box stationary. I know this is a small thing but I remember they used to actually practice swing last year.

They will if you give them right time, but unlike when you do it and the cpu pitchers waits if you hit the button while they are doing it they will warp back into position to be ready for the pitch.

Used warp for lack of a better word.
