After witnessing the chaos and supreme over-reaction in this thread, I'm actually quite happy I bought it on Amazon instead of going digital.

Unfortunately, I'm now sitting through a Royals/Padres extra inning game that won't ever end. It's probably worse torture than you guys are suffering through waiting on the download option to appear........

So, what is your "style" for refreshing the MLB page?

Are you exiting out of the store each time?
Just hitting back to the main screen?
Using the search feature?

I go to the top click on the playstation store button, down to games, must-haves, down to The Show, click download now, rinse, repeat

if the predownload worked digital is by far the best route to go, all though im sure are systems would fill up awfully fast.

Yup, by going digital, and not having to manufacture the discs, then the plastic cases and inserts, it should be saving them money. How much? Who knows, but it's one reason why there's a growing contingent of ppl that are lobbying for digital games to be priced cheaper than physical.

What we don't know is what the costs are (server space, bandwidth, etc.) for hosting a ~40GB file to be downloaded tens or hundreds of thousands of times.

I would guess it is still cheaper to do digital distribution, but my point is we don't know all of the details.

Ive been digital man for years wont buy hard copies love my ssd hard drive. its always been after 12pst
