I'm sure you know that for a fact. I'm just wondering how many times some of you let this stuff slide by when you could have gotten something out of it, that's what I am curious of.

As a customer, you have the right to complain if something is done incorrectly or not as promised. Any time I am unsatisfied, I make it known. Only in circumstances where I feel it is completely necessary, of course. I feel as though this is one of those times. I can't tell you how many times I get money refunded to me just by calling and expressing my concerns with something. I guess some of you don't choose to do so, and that is your choice.

Perhaps you clearly underestimate your abilities as a consumer.

For anyone ,making excuses, telling people they aren't going to "die", "the world isn't going to end", first of all, you do realize that you are fighting fire with gasoline there right, You are trying to get people to stop overreacting by using hyperbole yourself. I am a little discouraged at the number of apologetic posts here. Now I realize that back in the old days,,,,like 2 whole years ago, this would not have been an option, and we are fortunate to have it. However, now that this kind of option has been made available, it needs to work correctly. Especially since it is the wave of the future, at least according to Sony. This is what they want. Did you read that we may never see another console?

The point I am driving at is that this is a disaster, in the context of gaming. In the grand scheme of life, it is a minor annoyance and I am sure anyone out there expressing frustration will tell you that. We all paid, or want to pay 60 dollars here and we cant. I for one am going to have some serious issues going digital on release day again. From a customer perspective, you have every right to be upset if your expectations are not met, and those apologizing for it. good on you but you are wrong to be so condescending to customers who paid their money and expect their product. From a business perspective, to have this happen during the digital relase of your flagship annual franchise, that is really bad and no amount of fast talk is going to get around that.

Think of it this way, if you preordered this game, I can guarantee you that Sony has already made money off of your money and what do you have to show for it?

I get the feeling its a deeper issue than that. No excuse, but I sense there's an infrastructure issuing that we're not hearing about. Whether its' a provisioning issue or something else. Being it's the middle of the night, it may have taken some time to get the right engineers up and rolling.

Nothing more than an educated guess, but I sense there's a deeper issue here than simply not enabling the download or publishing a DL button.

Exactly, more power to me. I've done it before, not sure why it wouldn't be possible now. However, as I said in my other post, I don't even wish to get the game for free. That only hurts SCEA in the long run. But I will get something for this, I can guarantee that.

Also, I love how you want to make a mockery of the conversation when this is actually a serious issue worth debating. I'm glad we were able to be a source of entertainment for the thread together, it was a joy.
