Another great digital day 1 adventure from your friends at playstation huh? You guys are constantly letting everyone of your loyal supporters down with unreliability and absolutely no communication whatsoever. If you guys would only realize that if you just kept us a little in the loop when things aren't going right we might be a little more understanding. For example like today with MLB the Show 14 supposed to be coming out at midnight eastern time and now 6 hours later no ones heard one reassuring word from you guys or even like a time estimate. You leave thousands of us just stewing in anger on random forums all over the internet ripping on our stupid company that we keep coming back to for some reason. At least the Shows people had the decency to tweet us and let us know that they are trying to fix it even if they were lying because we know it has nothing to do with them. We all know its good old reliable playstation network at its finest again (thats sarcasm). Grow up you over paid slacking morons. Where's your professionalism? How does your board of directors not fire all of you. Who the hell would think this tyoe of production is acceptable. You set a date for something you get it done. thats how us adults do it. I could end this by telling you my playstation sign on and asking for some sort of in store credit for the time of mine you wasted but Ill play the adult today. Just get your ****ING act together geez

That's my plan. Irritating, to say the least.

The only thing I didn't imagine is waking up at 6 AM EST and that no download.

Like many said, confidence with Sony digital is now gone. I'll never go that way again.

The sentence in bold is the thing that amaze me the most in all that story.

Nothing for a week or so about the pre-loading. Left in the dark as if or not it would be. Then, at 12:15 AM EST, The PS Store MLB 14 The Show switch to Buy Now. Since then, nothing.

I don't know how many people bought the game online, but it's sure more than 10. I don't get how you can't at least come out and say there's a problem and what you're doing for it.

Silence maybe gold in some case, but in that one, it's just plain ridiculous.

and now after 6 and a half hours waiting i get to go to work for 12 hours and not get to download it before my off day because my brothers PS4 is my primary (stupid on my part (but wouldnt have been a problem if the game was only maybe a couple hours late at least)). and you cant remote download to a secondary system. and the lazy buttmunch wont answer his phone

I work from home so the digital download was a no brainer for me, however I've learned my lesson. Ill never go this route again. Sony had this reputation for pulling stunts like this before , i.e. battlefield 4 dlc out but n/a till after 6pm. There is such a thing as false advertising , especially when you lure folks in with a 12:01 promise.

Firstly I'd like to point this out, why the show twitter feed said SOME users when it's really ALL users is beyond me.

I know many people have stated this already but I will NEVER purchase a game digitally due to this fiasco.

MLB: The Show '14 was my first (and now last) game that I will rely on any on-console store to sell me. I figured just like everyone else I'd be playing the sucker by now, but when I can walk my happy *** to WalMart in a matter of 20 minutes to pick it up, that seems like it would have been the better idea.

Simply put, yeah there are going to be delays and what not, but being left in the dark is just not a good thing, especially with a big title such as this.

If they don't get it fixed soon, we won't even be able to play the game for a couple of days due to the giant file size. It's a massive game with tons of awesomeness packed inside, therefore I was planning on meeting all of last night and most of my working day today to download.

I went digital because it would always be available on my hard drive and I could have another game in my disk slot.

Now I hope to get a refund on the digital purchase and by the hard copy.
