And,,,correct me if I am wrong but I think some of the frustration comes from the fact that this isn't March 6, its may 6. People who bought a PS4 just for this game, and don't get it twisted Sony knows this game sells consoles, have been waiting a LONG time compared to what they are used too. Belittle those who are frustrated with your own brand of snide hyperbole but, it has all kinds of merit.

I guess it is common sense to me, but literally you call... say "I am not happy, this is unacceptable" and explain to them why. They know already, trust me. Other likewise unhappy fellas have called in to "politely" ask for their money back. And they will say "I am sorry for the inconvenience sir, we will get the refund to you ASAP".

Boom! I almost had to talk for 5 whole minutes!

Then everyone needs to take this guys lead and politely call in and in 5min you'll have your refund and off to the store of your choice and buy a wonderful, shiny new hard copy.
This guy deserves his own thread to calm the masses.

Joke about it if you like, but I have $60 in my hand and the freedom to do whatever. It's about the principle at this point. I could care less how soon I get the game. All I care about is that Sony does not get my $60.

enough hyperbole. let's get to the point -- people are upset that they've had to wait 4 hours (and counting) for a product that was promised at 12:01, and people are telling them not to be upset because there are worse things happening in the world.

that is some of the most ridiculous logic and I'm not sure how it became such a popular thing to say. Unless you're literally dead or dying you can say it about anything.

Car broke down? well at least you're still alive! could be worse!
Lost your job? well, you have your health!

And you have missed mine. It's a sad world we live in when people are absolutley enraged about not playing a video game as early as possible. C'mon now.

and you have proven my point that you missed the point. I doubt that most people in here are upset because they didn't get to play the game at 1201 am, but more the lack of communication with regard to exactly what is happening with the product that they spent their hard earned money for.

I would bet that if Sony came out and said, its not going to be ready until, whatever time tomorrow, people would be frustrated but, everyone would go to sleep, wait for tomorrow, and rightfully expect some form of compensation. As I said earlier, they have your money, and are making money hand over fist with it. The people who paid, have nothing. There is nothing sad about this at all if you are upset customer.

No I'm just saying if it was that easy for you then everyone should just take 5min of their time and call and get their refund. Could you provide the number you called for these people? Part of me is being sarcastic but the other part is serious. If you can help these people out, why wouldn't you? If it's as simple as a five min phone call then help some fellow gamers out.

This is the part that gets me.

After:
no new uniforms,
60% of the stadiums,
not seeming like a huge amount of upgraded stuff,
the fact that we could not "pre-download",

and now that the time for release has come and gone and we have nothing. I would've taken Tuesday off, but I absolutely couldn't due to work. If I had, and this happened, wow.

I understand mistakes, problems, tech. difficulties, but considering they won't release this game on any other platform, so you HAVE to buy a Play Station for baseball, it is beyond comprehension to me that they would then 1) not let us pre-download to avoid this idiocy to begin with 2) not have this particular title ready to go with no problems on the next-gen system.

I've been waiting close to a year for this. I live for this, and now I am angry and frustrated.

No offense to you or anyone else, but that's not my responsibility. What next? Should I call for them as well? If people really care enough or truly want their money back then they will put fort the effort to do so, just as I did. The problem with today's newer generations is far too many are incapable of doing anything on their own. Technology is weakening our society, but that is a much bigger conversation for another day (and place).

But I will give a hint, the number is simply Sony's customer service line.
