Yeah. The way I understand it is that Sony puts in a "request" for a refund that still needs to reviewed and approved. You guys will probably get a refund in this case but it's not always garaunteed.

Not even close to guaranteed.. Im not saying no one will get it but a lot won't.. Been down this road with sony it's very rare they approve the refund.

Here is an idea if the thread annoys you with the "whining", stay out of it. What do you think you will accomplish by further annoying people, who are already annoyed? His post was spot on, what your doing is trolling at this point.

You people act like these things can be fixed with the click of a button. It doesn't work like that. Its like the world is gonna end in here. God forbid you have to do something else than play a game today. You will get your precious little game. Sony isnt going to just take you money and not give the game to you. When its fixed it will be there. No amount of complaining here will fix anything. No one from Sony that can change anything will see these. The game should have been available 10 hours ago. But it wasnt. Its still not and you just have to deal with it until it is.

Anyone who prepaid for this download has a right to be unhappy and dissatisfied, especially those who specifically took time away from work today to play the game and not can not play it. This was clearly a major screw up by the PSN people. But these are first world problems you are dealing with. As I drove to work this morning thinking about myself rushing out at lunch to pick up the CD for this game and thinking about all you peeps who failed to download the game last night, I had to remind myself that I better pay attention to the road and not get into an accident. If something bad like that was to happen, I would easily forget about this game.

So people have the right to be dissatisfied today (I am sure some heads are rolling at PSN and I sure as heck would not want to be the person(s) who messed up). But let's not forget, this is only a game. Soon we will all be playing the game and hopefully the PSN peeps will learn a lesson from this.

I'm on the phone with some mouthbreathing idiot with Sony right now and respectfully and politely asked for a refund. He emphatically told me that they were working on the issue and no refund could be given at this time. This ain't my 1st rodeo and I know how to treat people when taking to them on the phone so I wasn't some irate ******* mouthing off profanities.

I can say though over the past 10 hours I have not seen 1 refund request denied. Just my luck that I get the one guy who wants to exacerbate the situation by not issuing the refund. I've now been waiting for a supervisor for going on 30 minutes.

I took today off work and could easily run 5 minutes down the street to pick up a hard copy, but won't do that until I can get verification through Sony that a refund has been issued.

What a load of crap.

I can tell you this.. Trolling is against ToS and your last few posts make it seem you are trolling. No one wants to hear it and you just upset people more who took the day off to play it, etc.

Golden rule, if it's not going to contribute. Keep quiet about it, regardless how their posts make you feel.

I think your chances of getting a refund in a situation where;

1) They haven't delivered the product.

2) Didn't hold up their end of the bargain

Are pretty good as you don't even have the game yet! If I was in this situation, I'd be on the horn with Sony right now getting my refund, even if it would take 3-5 days to get back on my card.

If you're so tired of it, maybe go take a nap and when you wake up, you'll not only be rational, but the game might be up too.

I'll echo what some others have said: yes, Sony should have had it up at 12:01. But no, it's really not that big of a deal. People need to either wait it out or do something about it.

As frustrating as I am to you, it's similarly frustrating to me to see people repeat the same "I'M SO MAD" mantra as if that's going to get things up any sooner. If you're mad, do something about it. If you want to be dramatic and sue Sony over your $59.99, go ahead! Otherwise, the whining is completely pointless.

I also don't have a clue why someone would preorder a digital game like it's going to sell out or something, which also makes me side-eye many of the angry posters in this thread.

I've got a bad feeling this won't be resolved in time to have the game downloaded by this evening. And from what I've read, I'm not confident that refunds will be honored either. So aside from shelling out another $60 for a hard copy with no guaranteed refund from PSN, there's nothing left to do.

Refunds go to the PSN Wallet, not your card.

I had one refund for NBA 2K14 on the PS4, and another because my digital purchase of The Show on the PS3 would not install after 6 tries.

I could be wrong, but I think a refund to your card MIGHT be harder to pull off.
