As you can see I went with a little Asian flare with this team. Not sure why but I kind of like it. I think I had the 12th overall pick and took McCutcheon with the pick.

I know that personally when I run my fantasy draft tomorrow I will be looking to draft at least one slap style hitter for my team! This wait is agonizing! I will post results tomorrow though after I get over my excitement of having the game

Other then a walk off slam from McCutcheon and a couple absolute bombs from Stanton, they've been terrible for me so far through about 10 games. I'm sure that will change soon though

Heck yeah .. I would take Stanton over any outfielder in the game jus me though ..

I picked José Fernandez with #10 overall pick and then Bautista in the second round. Also though about Stanton, but went with better fielding. I also reached a bit for certain players that I wanted (Cole, Hamilton and McGowan).

Overall, very happy with my team.

I used to sometimes shy away from doing fantasy drafts because it seemed like since I always had a semi-young high potential team that I was stealing from the CPU teams. Is the draft different this year where CPU teams value those players a little more?

Older veterans do last longer than many younger players

You can still totally load up on superstar-caliber prospects if you want, so you really just have to go with house rules. Tell yourself you can only draft 1-2 players under 21 with A potential, or only 2-3 A potential pitchers and 2-3 A potential position players of any age. Something like that.

Although progression has been improved this year where not every A or B potential prospect will definitely become a star, it seems like there are a decent amount that just never reach their potential, which is good.

EDIT: I am playing on PS3, but I highly doubt my experiences are any different from what they will be on PS4.
