First thing a TS Rookie should do?

I've seen you guys talking that the hardest thing to get accustomed to is the hitting/timing. I plan on starting a Phillies chise, but am curious what the best way to go about "learning" if you will, since I've heard it can be pretty frustrating at first.

So what do you think? Is there some sort of BP or tutorial on hitting that should be done 1st? Maybe play a few exhibition games instead of starting a season and likely getting slaughtered at the plate?

I know everyone is different, just wanted to see what you guys thought. Also curious as to what camera angles/settings you'd recommend for someone brand new. I don't want to dumb it down as I want a challenge, but I don't want to be overly frustrated either. Looking for a happy medium that will help me actually learn to hit, as I'd love to eventually play on the highest difficulty. Thanks in advance.

There is a BP you can go to from the main menu. Its a good place to start. Had atleast 500 at bats ion it last year. Camera is personal preference. Mine is catcher view and i move the camera down a bit.

Batting drills to help with identifing pitches, good at bat training, and locations. Just practice through exhibition help me the most.

The training really helps. Make sure you also come up with an approach at the plate as you develop. Remember you are going to fail about 7 out of every 10 times and don't get frustrated. The best pitchers are the best pitchers for a reason.

Training modes and there is also a beginner difficulty option you can start out with.
