    Fielding Controls

Was wondering if anyone has a complete grasp of the fielding options available. For interface there is button, button accuracy, and analogue. Then there's 'throwing meter' which can be on or off. For interface it says ALL use pressure sensitive controls, "so the longer the button is held, the harder the throw will be." However under 'throwing meter' it says when set to off, it says throw strength will NOT be determined by how long you hold the button.

I find these to be somewhat confusing, especially because there are two 'meters' in game, and I'm not sure which is which for what settings. There is an overhead meter that determines accuracy (red on the edges is error, green is accurate, yellow is in between) but there is also a red ring throw power meter under the player's feet. So I guess the question is, what exactly is the difference between button and button accuracy and what meter are they taking about with the one that can be set to on or off? I will try to do some testing but everything happens so fast it can be tough to tell.

Also, both options talk about button press length as determining throw power, but I watched a developer diary video (from mlb13) and he said power was based on how HARD you press the button, not the length of time. However, the ps4 face buttons are digital, not analogue, so I'm guessing this doesn't work anymore? The point of this is, if I want to do a hard throw, do I need to cycle past the green section of that meter once and hit it the second time through so I can hold the button longer?

Any help would be appreciated. Iv'e seen a lot of complaints about lazy fielder throws, and I think it is because people aren't preloading the throw and don't fully understand the controls.

I play it simple. Just set your throwing to buttons or button accuracy. When you get to the ball just hold down the button that represents the base you want to throw to.

I like the meter because it's adds some depth and some fun to fielding. I'm totally over analogue, but I would still like to know the difference between button and button accuracy...They both can use the meter, so I have no idea what the difference is.
